Christ (基督)
• It is the title given to Jesus, now used as a part of Jesus Christ or as an alternative to his name.
• 基督，是加於耶穌的頭銜，現與祂的名連用或互用。
• Christ = the anointed One.
• 基督就是『受膏者』。

To anoint (受膏)
• It is to apply oil or ointment to somebody as King, Leader, or Commander, especially in a religious ceremony.
• 『受膏』是將油塗在某人身上膏立他為君王、領袖、統帥。用在宗教儀式中，是膏立某人為教主。

Christian (基督徒)
• It is the person believing in the Christian religion.
• 基督徒指那些相信及接受基督信仰的人。

Christianity (基督教教義)
• It is the Christian faith or religion for somebody being with Christian character.
• 基督教教義是基督教信念，付予成為基督名下的人，有着基督的性格。

Christian Name (教名)
• It is the name given at baptism.
• 教名是在施洗受浸禮時所取的名字。
• 參考例子：使徒保羅 (Paul) 原名掃羅 (Saul)，擁有羅馬公民身份，是猶太教的中堅分子，曾經迫害基督徒；他後來認罪悔改、回轉信主，成為基督的使徒，受命往外邦人傳福音，主耶穌給他取名叫保羅。保羅不付所託，不計較個人得失，將生死置諸度外、不惜以身殉道，忠心奉獻、完全任務，最終為主殉道。
