Okay, so it's been 3 weeks on this site now & I must admit I'm a little hooked, especially with the magazine section. The passion, the drama, the dilemmas, the characters! Better than Oprah anyday, hands down. I don't even really survey the 'scene' (profiles) that much anymore because there's far more entertainment in the good old magazine section! Who knew. Romance update: still feeling my way around here, still think there's an interesting man or two in the bunch. Just gonna wing it. |

Hi MrStan, I would never, ever purposely do such a thing to a gentleman like yourself. In fact, I would never delete anyone's comment unless it truly warranted it. I didn't even have the pleasure of seeing/reading your comment  BUT would love to!! Now you got me curious... do you mind doing me a huge, monstrous, gigantic favor and offering it again??? I'd owe you big time!

HI asian fusion, Enjoy your views and reviews. I am a blog squatter , have been around for a bit. Don't own a blog but enjoy visiting and squatting on others. Don't expect too much of romance here, but certainly friendship , which is a pretty fairweather craft here. I have met some of the regular I chat to in US and lately Singapore. So nice to meet you , and look forward to reading your pieces

Thanks eclectic, appreciate the insight & great advice! I'm not sure what I'm looking for yet, but you're right, I have made a couple of good friends so far. I just read your profile & liked the part where you wrote you were a global nomad - how cool is that? I consider myself the same, although I probably haven't traveled as extensively as you but I'm working on it! I'm off to S. America in February!! Whoo hooo!

Would love to go to S. America myself. CAn't wait for that to happen. Looking forward to skiing in Chile which I hear is a graet place for summer skiing. Travel while u are young and have the energy to do it . I did lots of it and cannot contain this itchy feet. Heading for US for Christmas yet again.As I am not a paid member I am not privy to your profile and hence have not a clue where u come from. Are u inthe US , if so where? I go to CA often cos my son is in LA. So always keen to meet friends in CA. Heading for FL and Atlanta for Christmas and NY. then maybe down to LA . IF u are anywhere in the vicinity , i hope to see u oneday.

Hi eclectic, this will be my first time to S. America (roughing it in Ecuador & the Galapagos) so I'll make sure to take plenty of pics & share them with you! I live in the US, Connecticut to be more exact, and have lived here pretty much all my life. If you ever find yourself on the east coast, give me a heads up & maybe we can meet somewhere! I'd love to hear some of your travel stories And MrStan, you're way too generous... What have I done to deserve such a large offering? I don't know if I feel I deserve such large rewards yet, after all, they're best enjoyed when you have work for them. Besides, I don't want to stretch myself too thin! Thanks for being so sweet & respectful!

Asian, what a pity i did not know you earlier. I spent most of this summer in CT, in New Canaan, Westport and WEston to be exact . My son was at Silverhill hospital in New CAnaan for more than a month. Would have love to see u then. But I do go to NYC and have friends in CT so I am sure we will meet one day! Planning a great gf's 50th in CT soon. Will see if I could make it there. Would love to hear your travels to S. America. I ahve too many stories to tell, would make up a whole book..lol but my favorite country to explore has always been Japan where I lived for 6 years . If u ever want to come by London, do let me know. Always love playing host to my American friends.
