Thanks for the insight, Nanimiel! By the way, does your handle name have to do with something about honey? I vaguely remember the French word for honey is miel or mielle...

You are right, AsianFusion: MIEL means HONEY in French (but not darling-like kind of meaning; strictly the lovely, sweet stuff bees produce).
In Italian, it would be MIELE and probably MIEL in Spanish -- too lazy to check on that one, sorry...
NANI is my bf's nickname.

Could you hold an easy conversation in French? How long have you studied it?

Au revoir! Best - nanihoney

Bonjour nanimiel, je parle un peu et j'ai oublie' beaucoup! J'ai etudie' la langue francaise au lycee pour 5 ans. It's been many years since I've had anyone to speak the language with, so my memory with verb tenses & spelling has gotten rusty. I could get by if I was in parts of Canada or in France, however, or at least I'd like to think so! I was thinking of taking a course to bring me back up to speed -- il est une langue jolie, n'est ce pas?

Hope all is well with you (and forgive me for my bad French grammar)
