Tax On Miracles

請評論. 謝謝.

A little boy wanted $100.00 badly and prayed for two weeks but nothing happened. Then he decided to write GOD a letter requesting the $100.00.

When the postal authorities received the letter to GOD, USA, they decided to send it to the President. The President was so impressed, touched, and amused, that he told his Secretary to send the little boy a $5.00 bill. He thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.

The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 and sat down to write a thank you note to GOD which read:

Dear GOD,
Thank you very much for sending me the money, however, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Washington and as usual the government deducted $95.00.

Hi,
Well, we are at least fortunate enough to live in a country that we can pay taxes in! Would it not be much worse to live in a country that we could not earn a living?

Tom

Actually, what this illustrates is the mindset of the welfare class.

They want something for nothng and somehow expect GOD to provide.

However, then their GOD (government) give them less then they demanded, they get upset and blame government for their shortage.

So if GOD were to want to capture this vote then the next time around the entitlement would have to be raised a fraction to satisify the welcare crowd.

    My Opinion

I think this is also the mindset of the rich (or any other group). They don't want to pay any taxes, but they want the government to supply all the infrastructure needed for them to make their profits.

Most people's morallity is compatible with their self interest, and sometimes people are outraged and complain when they don't get what that want.
