Doritos

Eating an Entire Bag of Doritos

1 - Ok well I'm hungry, but dinner isn't for a couple hours. Sooo I guess I'll eat some Doritos to pass the time? I'll just have a couple. I don't really even like them that much.

2 ‒ Darn these are good. I should stop now so I don't ruin my appetite. (Closes bag. Looks at bag. Reopens bag.) Ok, just a few more, these are really freaking good. Look! LOOK my fingers are orange! If that's not a reason to keep eating, I don't know WHAT is.

3 - Holy cow, I already ate half the bag? I wasn't even paying attention, I was just sitting on the couch watching reruns of Full House. Oh NICE, this is the one where Joey takes Stephanie to a mother- sleepover.

4 - ...and I can't beLIEVE he didn't drop that egg while wearing high heels. Wait, wait, WAIT. What the heck. Did I seriously just eat this many chips? There are only like 20 left! (Pause. Frowns.) I mean, they ARE pretty good. I guess since I've made it this far, a few more won't hurt, right?

5 - Ok ok ok ok ok ok. Ok. I'm so full. (Looks down into bag.) There are literally 6 chips left. Oh man, I can count them just by looking, that's how few there are. If I close the bag now, I'll just be annoyed with the lack of chips when I open it later. And I don't want to waste any food. Just, come on. Come on. Finish it.

6 - Dinner time?

R-F, as always your comments are very perceptive. You obviously have a deep understanding of human nature, which I admire.

Aren't wine and cheese parties delightful ? I haven't been to one in a while, unfortunately, but they are a wonderful way to spend time with friends (and to make new ones).

I'm very pleased to see that you don't drink and drive, and that you are so aware of the disproportionate effect that even a small amount of alcohol can have on someone of such a lovely petite frame.

Thank you for releasing me from my obligation to you, that was a very kind gesture... I shall try not to keep you in suspense in the future.

You have a good day.

May your God go with you.

Hi R-F,

Hmmm... very intersesting, you're quite right... his posts have disappeared, although his profile still exists.

I don't know why, and don't really care. I had already decided that if he had responded further I was going to cut the conversation short because he obviously had his own axe to grind and I have better things to do that get into a long, drawn out argument with him.

If you really want to see what he said you can look back at my replies on this post, because I quote him in each case, although I didn't respond directly to his comment on Vicky's previous post.

No matter now, he's gone and he's taken his attitude with him. Case closed.

May your God go with you.

Oh, one other thing Backpacker1975, do you think that Vicky does a copy/paste for all the responses she puts on other people's posts, or is she writing those herself ?

May your God go with you.

Hi R-F,

Ahh.. that's where I said about it.. your memory is soooo much better than mine. If I didn't know better I'd say you were taking notes

Yes, it's fun and harmless, but as I said at the time there was a fair amount of Calvados involved as well, so maybe I'll hold back on that rather than embarrass myself in public. Suffice to say that it was part of a really wonderful meal I had in Balleroy some years back.

Don't mention the creamy donuts !! I've been very good lately and have managed to resist the temptation... so far...

Oh come off it R-F, nobody could eat a kilo of durian for breakfast, surely ! I mean... A KILO ?????

No, I think you're having us on... you eat 1 durian, 1 spoonful of peanut butter, 1 creamy donut (occasionally)

But I believe you about the wine

Take care, and have a good day.

May your God go with you.

Is there anything in the rules of blogging that says that all posts must be original ? If there is I've certainly never found it.

What Vicky posts is original, to me, and for me that is all that matters. The fact that you may know somebody with a blog that Vicky has copied some things from is irrelevant in so far as I have not seen that blog, nor do I necessarily wish to.

There is a limit to the number of blogs it is possible to read within the time I allocate to that purpose each day and, in any case, it is not just Vicky and "her blog" that interests me. I like the community of online friends that she has built up. These are people that I have taken to and who, I would like to think, have taken to me. I read, and enjoy, their blogs too.

Some people post lyrics from well known songs, just because the words inspire them or, on that particular day, the words hold a special meaning for them. Are you going to criticise that as well ?

I have copied the occasional posting (usually a joke) that I have found on an Asia Friendfinder blog and put it on my own blog elsewhere or e-mailed it to friends. Where's the harm ? It spreads the humour to people who may not have read the post I read, thereby bringing happiness into more people's lives.

If anybody were to stick a copyright notice on a posting then I would respect it. Without such... it's a free world !

If you don't like "Vicky's blog" (for whatever reason) then nobody is forcing you to read it.

I see that you don't have a blog on AFF, neither does your profile have a picture. In both cases that is your choice which you are free to make, as others are free to make theirs.

May your God go with you.

Ok R-F, you got me.... where did I mention the Rice Brick ?

I know the story, but I've had a quick scan of my posts and I can't find it... I know I mentioned it somewhere, but you have digging deep...

I am guessing it was something you picked up from the French connection.......... eek !!!! Tell me...tell me... where did I say about it ??????... and why, specifically, do you remember it now ?

Big hug darling

(by the way... from your comments today/yesterday , I cannot imagine you ever putting on weight, not even as the kids grew up, and I don't believe a whole jar of peanut butter would find room inside anyone as petite as you. )

May your God go with you.

That's two consecutive posts by Vicky that you have had a dig at.

Have you got a "chip" on your shoulder ?

There's nothing wrong with sharing humour... if more people did it the world would be a happier place.

May your God go with you.
