ROAD TRIP Friday was my last day at work at the lab. I packed up my little lab rats and shipped them to the customer. It was sad to see them go because I know what is going to happen to them. But they will provide support ongoing research to find new ways to prevent cancer. I am trying to get my personal items into one large checked bag and one bag with samples. The carry on is my emergency bag with sweats, inflatable pillow and two fleece blankets in case I get stranded overnight again at an airport. My laptop, Nikon D300 Camera with 12-24 and 18-200 lenses, and flash, plus the accessories for my Nikon Coolpix P5100 are in a backpack. I learned my lesson from the last time I traveled to Europe and purchased a new handbag. It has a steel wire sewn into the carry strap so it cannot be cut. The interior is a Kevlar bag so it cannot be cut with a knife. I will carry some cash, Euros, my Nikon P5100, and iPhone in that. My travel documents, credit cards, and cash are in a pouch with steel strap that I will hang around my neck and tuck inside my blouse. I will also wear a long wool coat, wool travel suit with pants, and comfortable business flats. See how organized I am? I will stop by Vancouver just to see the fashion shoot. They have selected a few areas to use as background. Then it is on to Chicago for a few days. Then next week it is the Toronto Fashion Week and the week after that the Montreal Fashion Week. In April, I will be in NYC for a few days then off to London for a few Days. I will be in Paris and hopefully Milan if time permits. It will be fun this trip because my cousin and middle sister will travel with me. If I have time, I will try to add a post or two and maybe add photos to my Friends Album. In the meantime, please continue to enjoy yourselves. VICKY |

You know sometimes I am using the Dragon Dictate so I just speaking to the computer like am having the normal conversationg with my friends so I am just too lasy to make the corrections cause you know after all this is just the blog and not the important paper where I need to make sure my English is perfect just like the Presindent's However, there are times when I do need to take the time to use Microsoft Word grammar check and spell check to ensure the quality of the post that I want to share with you. Other then that, there is only one of me. However, there are individuals to do have conversations with me here who tend to have more then one handle. They are quite easy to identify. So which style Vicky do you like? The Air-Head Asian girl who likes to talk like a bubble gum girl? Or the professional and academic Vicky who sometimes shares things of interest to me that makes no sense to you at all. Of course, there are those times when I do cut and paste and sometimes Asia Friendfinder deletes the reference URL so you might think I am the one writing, but it's not me, just not quoting correctly. Not that difficult really you just post a few interesting things in your blog for others to read. Back in 6 weeks. VICKY  .Make sure to include photos of your naughiness in the sexy night clubs of Paris.   ...  I might be there, but at another time.

I am waiting for your new photo, guessing that's very beautiful. I always do some work at lab with mice ,sometimes after shocked them, a few mice jumped out from box.... Enjoying your trip. I miss you and waiting for you coming back.

Vicky, hmm.... did you have a bag cut before on another trip ? an encounter with gypsies perhaps ? Steel wire and kevlar, my gawd, you are prepared, Have a safe trip, and get home safely ! We'll miss you !  Thanks for the kind wish.
