Change The buzzword for this election is CHANGE. If Obama is the one to sit in the White House for the next four years what would you like to see CHANGED. Be realistic. Not everything is going to CHANGE. Exactly what is CHANGE going to be? What would you like to see CHANGED in America? A curious Vicky wants to know. |

Last December the media was buzzing aout the possibility of the first woman President or the first Black President. They were labled as gender and race candidates from the very start. The problem, as I see it, when it comes to race there are others who would prefer the alternate racial candidate if they have a choice. I'l still waiting to hear exactly what change Obama is going to make and how he intedns to go about doing it. Why? He's surrounded by old-line Democrat advisors who are on board because they dislike the Clinton political machine. My opinion VICKY

There is a minute chance that may happen when thee holding the office and that could be changing the idea of "change". How about changing to "Lets change what I have said earlier on..."

I would like to see Darwin’s Theory of Natural Selection be the basis of CHANGE in America. Eliminate all of the racial, economical, class, and other categories and let every one compete equally for a piece of the American opportunity pie, with the only exception being that illegal in the United States are disqualified for a piece of the pie. This means no set-asides for being a member of a disadvantaged economic/social/racial/cultural/whatever group. If change is going to happen, then do not make it a CHANGE created by a select group of elitist who decide what is changed and how it is accomplished. Instead, let change occur through natural selection of decisions made by individuals in the way they conduct business, take advantage of educational opportunities, or in how people interact with each other. Moreover, if one group is able to exceed their “fair share” of the American pie, then instead of restricting the numbers able to access that opportunity, why not expand the opportunities for by creating more slots. We are in the early stages of this CHANGE revolution so we are only in the dream stage of what could be possible. Very simplistic request for change but I am a very simple girl. VICKY
