Montreal Fashion Week  It has been a great week here in Montreal. Lucy accompanied us and as usual, she had everything ready for us. She took care of getting us our press kits, buyer’s kits, and industry credentials. We arrived Sunday afternoon and headed over to our hotel. Once we settled into our Suites on Rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, it was off to Chinatown for an early dinner and then to Old Town Montreal and some of my favorite places to sit back and relax and listen to the music. Of course, we also discussed what each of us would be doing for the rest of the week. It is very convenient to travel by cab in Montreal and since the fashion show was going to be at the Bonsecours Market it was better to ride then to walk through the still cold winter streets of the City. One of the nice things about the MFW this year was the addition of Le Showroom where we could mingle with the designers and manufacturers. This gave us an opportunity to see what the fashion trends were going to be for the fall. The highlight of Le Showroom was getting a chance to meet with a team of 10 French designers and look at their beautiful collections. Of course, it also gave us an opportunity to take many pictures and obtain literature we could use later to redesign some of the items we liked for our . The fashion runway is always the highlight of any fashion show and this year it was truly exciting. I have been watching Bravo TV’s “Supermodel” reality show and I now have an appreciation of what these models go through to earn the right to walk down the runway. Lucy has been a great hostess for us this year. Last year, when my sister decided to start attending these shows it was total chaos just trying to get to the events and access to some of the By Invitation Only events. I know my sister will discuss getting her promoted to take care of our Canada operations. This would save us from having to travel to meet new . Last night, Thursday, we attended the Closing Party at the Hotel Place d’Armes. This year, I wore my fashionable evening dress under my mid-length Mandarin collared evening coat (our design of course). Of course, each of us was wearing a variation of the coat. Today, it is all business until 5 pm as we circulate to the different design houses and meet with some of our for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, and early dinner. Afterwards, it is ladies night out as we go out on the town to celebrate this great working vacation. My middle sister and Lucy head back to Vancouver for Fashion Week there while my cousin and I continue on to New York for a few days to meet with our and get ready to make the NYLON run on Thursday. |

Hi... Lee.... Is it you on this pic ? She is tiny , too.Except that I am always with heels. Actually, I am not short, just small frame like most of the french or chinese . Enjoy yourself while you can. The best way to make monie from women is what you are doing now. Am I right ? Luv you... God Bless Rejoicefrance
