The Obama Nation

I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to read Jerome R. Corsi's new book, "The Obama Nation."

Is the title of the book a play on words? The Obama Nation sounds a lot like "Abomination."

Would be interested in your comments if you have read the book. It would make an interesting discussion. Not interested in hearing from anyone who has not read the book and just wants to rant.

In response to CPayne. I purchased the Franken book and an Anne Coulter book, as you said, to expose myself to both sides. The purpose of my initial posting was because, like you said, people should be exposed to both sides.

I have to agree that both books express the views of the extreme edges of both parties. I don't think we need these expose type books but it does help to inform the electorate as to why the left and right can't govern this nation properly. Just think about it, regardless of who wins in Novemember, they are only going to represent less then 50% of the people in this country.

If there were a third option, such as "none of the above," I'd take that option. And if NOTA won that would mean both parties would have to resubmit another candidate for the electorate to vote on, maybe someone more moderate or centrist that we could feel comfortable with.

I like that, NOTA, almost like NADA.

Barnes and Noble provided this [S]ynopsis:
In this thoroughly researched and documented book, the #1 New York Times bestselling co-author of Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry explains why the extreme leftism of an Obama presidency would leave the United States weakened, diminished and divided, why Obama must be defeated–and how he can be. [end of synopsis]

I had contemplated purchasing the book to read and discuss, but after reading the synopsis, I decided not to support such views, if even indirectly, by purchasing the book. If you purchase the book, Lies and the Lying Liars who tell them, A fair and balanced look at the Right, by Al Franken, I will purchase the aforesaid Obama Nation for discussion.
