The of Hiroshima, The of the World  This little park sits in the middle of modern Hiroshima as a symbol of America’s first use of the Atomic bomb against an enemy. At the ’s Peace Memorial, this prayer is inscribed: "This is our cry. This is our prayer. Peace in the world." It represents the prayers of the of Hiroshima who died on August 6, 1945. Today is August 6, 63 years after the United States dropped the first Atomic bomb against a ruthless enemy. Approximately 140,000 people died at Hiroshima and a few days later an additional 80,000 died at Nagasaki. Soon after, Japan surrendered and World War II was over. True, 220,000 dead from two atomic bombs is tragic. However, consider these numbers after almost 7 years of war carried out by the Japanese: 29,000,000 Chinese killed 2,200,000 Filipinos killed 4,400,000 Indonesians killed 2,300,000 Koreans killed 1,780,000 Indochinese killed 293,000 American soldiers killed Why is the Japanese government silent and this glaring omission of fact in their history books that their government and military killed over 40,000,000 million human beings? Why do the pacifists claim the United States committed a “crime against humanity,” and that it was unnecessary, immoral, and an act of state terrorism. Should we reward the aggressor with martyrdom because they lost the war they started? This should not be a monument to the Japanese killed on August 6, 1945. It is a constant reminder to the Japanese and other aggressive nations that this is the price they must pay when their governments choose war over peace. Excuse me for being extremely tired and not looking up the dates and weighing the technology of the time... However.. it still stands that the Timing and content of such a post is plain LOW. The Olympics are viewed today as a gathering of many nations to compete in friendly competition, to promote Peace. Instead.. we see post like this Garbage post, that only serve to bring anger and hatred to the hearts of the masses. At such a time?!... So lame. So Low. The principle still stands as well. The way in which one kills can outweigh the shear number of killings. Also... can you even consider that the very technology that killed so many for a just reason... could one day be used by those very same people for Unjust reasons? Today we have seen massive erosion or values and morality in favor of self interests. Having one person carry the stick is much more dangerous than several people carrying it. Much like Kungfu.. where the experienced fighters are more reluctant to fight because they not only know their own powers... but also know that others are equally capable. However, the argument today, is that Nobody should be allowed to carry them Except the few selected countries. Partly out of fear, but its mostly about loss of control. (modern slavery) Im not defending Japans past actions. And.. I say further, that if one looks deep enough in history, one can see that just about Any country has a Dark Black past. Everything from the British(?) FORCING the chinese to trade Opium, to the use of Africans as human Slaves for personal gains in Usa and abroad (Very recently! Incredibly inhuman. Ungodly. Unthinkable) Not many people want to be reminded of the past. Many feel upset that such things happened. Yet, personally, I was not involved in such activities.. and anyone who shows me hate for that time period, is a person who is severely in need of help. You can not judge an entire Race of people based on historical events of the past. Just as we should not judge you based on whatever things your family members may have done. Everyone should be judged as individuals. Drop the hate. Move on. Ohh.. and By the way... Japan isnt the only culture who has manipulated the History books. Any decent historian will tell you plenty of things that are taught in todays schools are glorified and or inaccurate garbage.

The Crime, and IMMORAL part is the way in which the killing is done. Which would you prefer? a) Bullet in the head b) Slowly burning in pains as your flesh drips and melts off your bones over the course of a few weeks to a month... If you were in the us military... and they told you that for every Japanese that they captured... you were to torture them to death over the course of 2+ weeks each... Would you have done it? Lets pretend this is just the START of the Regime: 1) Slice long paper-cuts across a) fingertips b) eyelids c) tongue c) genital areas 2) Pour lemon juice and salt over the wounds. Maybe acid... 3) Poke searing red hot needles into various locations under the skin. Repeat for hours. 4) Scoop out eyeball bit by bit with small sharpened spoon. It can only get Much worse... You get the picture? You understand morality? You feel fine pulling the 'slow trigger' on a souls life like that? Why wouldnt a video of the bombs potential have been enough to stop the Japanese? Or.. a much smaller scale bomb dropped off in an area that was not so dense with civilians? Why 2 bombs instead of one? Why not non lethal alternatives? Why not simply assassinate the leaders instead? The answer to mass destruction is not more mass destruction. And nuclear devices are more than just the means to destroy humans... they have the capacity to destroy the entire world as we know it. I pretty much see this post is by a FAKER who has motives to create a sense of "insensitivity" to the idea of nukes used in modern warfare... in preparation for their planned assault on Iran and others in the near future.

Yes, it has indeed been a long time since I've been here. I have been very busy with research. Now that I am going to be traveling for a while, I'll take the time to share more here. I'll be in Shanghai the last week of August for a few days. Do you think China will win a lot of medals? VICKY

Maybe they are realizing their mistake, the old as well as the young Japanese. Many fully accept responsibility for starting the war. They remember all the horror from the bombs being dropped, and most certainly do not want it to happen again. As I wouldn't want that to happen here, or any where else. The United States are one of three countries who will not abolish nuclear weapons. You can read more at Japan *dot* com. When all nuclear bombs have been destroyed by all nations who have them, then I'll feel safe if the USA were to destroy their remaining stockpile. Until then, I'd prefer it if the United States carried a big stick just in case someone else decides to throw a couple of them our way. We can dream all we want for world peace but there will always be bad people. We can't all be namby-pamby people, can we? VICKY
