here is what CRAZY LOOKS LIKE

President Bush threatened Wednesday to veto Democrats' broad housing rescue package, saying it won't help struggling homeowners.

"We are committed to a good housing bill that will help folks stay in their house, as opposed to a housing bill that will reward speculators and lenders," Bush said at the White House after meeting with House Republican leaders.

_________________________________________________

IT'S PURELY PATHETIC, it does not matter how this mess was created, the matter is that it exist,.. and unless there is something done to fix it, it will take this country down further..

This man is a NUTCASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what did he think bailing out Bear Sterns was all about, it was bailing out speculators and Investors. !!!

but when it comes to the average citizen, he comes up with this BS !!! because, all he care's about is the rich getting richer and not loosing any money, he don't give a damn about the average citizen..
As long as his OIL buddies can gouge the public and his OPEC buddies can gain a fortune, that's all he cares about.. and his rich cronies, ...

that's why he veto'd the health care, but he can spend a billion a month on his FAILED OIL QUEST,, and his personal war.. at the expense of the American people..

There has never in the history of America been a bigger idiot to sit in the seat of the Presidency..of this country..

and the world can't wait till he get's out..

he is using this high gas price to fund and fuel his war, and the Arabs are using it to fund and fuel their side of the war.. and the man is too ignorant to see the simplicity of this..

Goodness.. I wonder why kind of minds the people who put this clown in office has, and now they want to follow him up with an aged old man that should be at home sitting on his A** !! and he is campaigning to carry on another twist of this demented administration...

Lord, help this country to survive till this lost man can get out of office..

it's a shame this country does not have a exile policy.. maybe he should be exiled to his busom buddies, Saudi and OPEC region.. since his love of money and oil .. is his passion and his obsession.. and the American people have suffered at every turn .. for the causes of such foolishness of him thinking he can just take what he wants and other country are suppose to help him do it, or he threatens them.. with sanction.. and he set the stage for his buddies to gouge us on fuel.. THEY WILL PROBABLY GIVE HIM HIS CUT, WHEN HE'S OUT OF OFFICE, THRU SOME OFF SHORE ACCOUNT OR OTHER FUNNEL SYSTEM .. I'M SURE HE AND HIS BUDDIES HAVE ALREADY SET UP .. TO RECEIVE HIS CUT..

when he's out of office, they should try him in court on a whole list of charges...the main one is lying to the people of this nation, and every other kind of mob criminal act they can gather ... this has been nothing but like a "Mobster, running the country"...

We don't need this kind of mess in this country..

the American people are nothing like this man, we are a peace loving people, who care to live and not harm others and to find ways to work with and be friends with others..

He's insulted all of us with his madness.

We need to be Americas again, not this mad man's puppets.. and the world will quickly see how much we care about people and other regions of the world..

It's a shame this could have turned out to be such a mess, and the anti help america sentiment that is this clowns main acts.. is to deny this nation anything that even remotely resembles help..

he's more anti american, and it shows in the things he Veto'd... and he's done it over and over and over.. and it's more detrimental than some of the people who seek to destroy the western world.

I can and do feel that when he's out of office, other nations will find their way, to again bond with America people... and they will make it known of their hope, that we never again get such a person in office to head this country.

republico Might I just ask how taking it to the polls will help ? After all, it was the "hanging chads" of those polls that put the illiterate moron there in the first place !

(But the man is right touch213, go easy on the old blood pressure mate.)

May your God go with you.

As I remember the election, some 8 years ago, it wasn't the "hanging chads' that caused Gore to lose the election but his own failure to carry his home state of Tennesee and Clinton not delivering Arkansas that did him in. Florida just happened to be the only state where the Democrats had a chance to win the election in the courts. I believe the Supreme Court had it down correctly when they stated you can't change the rules of the elections to suit which ever party feels it didn't get enough votes. As I remember the election, even the news stations had it wrong when they started predicting that Florida was won by either party before the rest of the state had finished voting because the dim wits at CNN didn't realize that Florida was in two different time zones so they screwed it up even more because the Floridians, especially the Republicans realized that they still had a chance if they could get out the vote in the "panhandle" where the polls were not going to close for another hour and so it's people like you who fall back on the simplistic argument about the "hanging chads", remember, if you can, Gore lost the election because he did not pay attention to states he thought were his but he lost because maybe the Democrats in his homestate and those of Clinton were tired of Gore and wanted real change.

My opinion only, so don't get pissed off.

Here is the dilima that Bush faces the day whoever is sworn in to replace him. It seems to me, some sort of custom has been established where the incoming President issues a pardon to the outgoing President such as the case in Nixon/Ford, Clinton/Bush. But the problme for Bush is if Obama becomes President and he decides not to issue a pardon for Bush and the Democrats in the Congress decide to run a thorough investigation of the previous eight years of Bush in office and the causes of the Iraq War and that is going to cause all kinds of harsh feelings because since the Democrats could not beat Bush at the ballot box they are going to try to beat him through their own investigations. But I see that Bush is going to pardon everyone who has worked for him these last eight years and if Obama is smart he is going to want to cut the past immediately so he can concentrate on the issues that are important to him and not to the other Democrats who lost the last two elections when it was theirs to win.

Now my take on the housing crisis and as a part owner in a family business all I can see is a bail out of speculators who were buying homes they had no right to purchase at prices that were far above the real market value of their homes and now they stand to lose their homes because they can't affort to continue making the high payments they were willing to pay because they hoped to eventually sell the house at a very high profit but now are looking at very big loses.

So what to do. The Democrats are saying that they will cover almost anyone who specualted on a home they could not afford to own. Witht his bill, who is really the winner in the end? It's not going to be the home owner who really can't afford the house to being with but the banks who will have their speculative loans covered by the tax payers, yes, that's right, you, me, and everyone who paid taxes this past year because it means in the end the money spent on this bailout is going to come from somewhere else to cover the costs so this means the defecit is going to go up higher in the end and we are going to all pay for someone's speculation in the end.

As for the bailout of Bear Stearns, it the end, it's not really the tax payers who are bailing out the company because the new owners are the ones who have to pay for the company and cover its expenses. What just happened was that the government stepped in and guaranteed the funds for the takeover and no tax payer funds are going to cover the accquisition of the bank.

Another problem with the bill, as I understand it is that it also bails out the developers and almost anyone connected with the real estate industry. This started off as a simple plan to refinance homes for those who are in a position (good credit history) to be able to afford the home they are living in. But this bill forces lenders to take a lose on the value of the home when it is refinanced under the Democrat's scheme so the banks take a loss and the home buyer gets an even better deal becase the home is financed at tax payer expense at a lower priced loan as well as up to a 30% on the price of the home. So in the end the specualtor gets rewarded for gambling. In the meantime, a person like me who has her own home (my parents helped with the down payment) and in good standing and not even close to foreclosure won't get a chance to refinance my loan at a lower interest rate and a devalued cost.

So Touch, take it easy, your ranting is not going to do you any good at all and you're probably going to bust one of your arteries and probably bleed to death.

So if your boy, Obama wins, just think what he's going to do for your people. Oh, lord almighty, the promised land is just over the horizon and Uncle Sam is going to take care of your people for all the abuse they have received from the white people and the asian people like me and as far as I know none of my people ever owned one of your people but you're going going to tell Obama he's got to make us pay and so you will have that little forty acres and a mule to sit on your little homesteads eading your chitlin pies and watermelons and laughing it up and praising the good lord for providing a Kenyan to make it with a horny white girl to produce the next Presidnet of the United States of America.

Just my opinon

your last comment exposes your racist depiction of a slant concept, and prejudgmental disposition of blacks in your over-view..

first off, Obama, has not ran a campaign of "favor blacks".. he has ran a campaign about this country and what it need to do to correct it's path on jobs, health and a host of issues which none are some exclusive black issue.. Maybe you should visit some of the poor Asian communities, since your expound about your personal wealth and your progress on economics.. you might find out that a great % of Asian Americans are not sitting on top of a lucrative business as your family sits, and they will be glad for any help they can get. You might want to look at the massive pool of white Americans who are not , Hollywood polished nor are they wall street wealthy.. you might want to look around, and see because you grew up with golden slipper and a plated spoon.. and college laid out like a magic carpet, that, you are not a true representation of the masses of Asian people who are struggling in very dire ways, some from pay check or government check to the next government check as well as many blacks and white are doing.. It's apparent that you've listened less to Obama's message and payed more attention to his skin.. with that undertone of bias that in evident within your outlook.

I doubt that Obama is interested in doing any investigation of Bush, because the whole of congress already is aware how much he screwed up, and how much he violated in his process of doing so, and they don't have time to mess around wasting time on him, he has already set up 2009 for a 450 billion deficit.. and the National Debt is over 9 trillion dollars.. with a sinking dollar.. and the US has lost it's stand as the so called superpower to China, while Bush sit in office, further destroying this country..

As to the Real Estate, it does not matter who gets bailed out, it matter that this Property issue gets back on track..

and it also in not all the homeowner fault, it's the mortgage packagers who traded those commodities until there was no value left to trade and the RE securities became static.. non one wanted them and the banks left holding them, got stuck in their SPECULATION.. The Jobs started folding over faster and faster and people closing shop.. just as you claim your family wants to do, and move off shore so your profits are higher by capitalizing on the cheap labor of the Asian region. and likewise of the other business that leaves, it leaves a group of people unemployed.. but it's for sure that is not a matter nor concern as the focus is on increased profits. .. so how does that contribute to the same country you reside..??

People as in the media talk about experience.. for the Presidency, Bush had none, he had a history of failed business ventures, and a piss poor managment of Texas, where his biggest matter was probably how many people he executed in his state. He sent the troops to fight in the desert wearing jungle camouflage, and non rightly armored equipment, and with wrong way intel.. and one lie that followed the next, His second in command, which is a former leader of Haliburton, which Haliburton was exposed for the no bid contract and left in place even after they were again exposed for the massive multi million dollar over-charges and false accounting. and a goon squad in the likes of Blackwater operatives.. and the list just goes on and on.. If the land and law was not with the likes of The debunked Gonzales, who played cronies to remove anyone who would not quietly accet the Bush criminal acts.. finally became exposed for the corrupt process of firing people who would not buy the lie, and then trying to cover it up.. so the Issue with this Administration.. is as I've stated, a gang of Mobsters.. of the highest order.. who succeeded in bringing down a country and destabilizing the world economically... and crashed the value of the dollar, to the point people prefer to find other commodities to invest.. We've ridden on the graces of China and their buying of securities and providing other loans, all to fight a war, about nothing but one mans personal agenda..and he played right into the lair set up by the Arabian Cartel known as OPEC..

it's been 8 years of blunders..lies and deceptive acts, and malicious greed driven posturing in every arena of American life this man has touched..

you are quite glib when you utter your biased stereo type of ethnic blacks, of which you probably only know no more than when you drive thru their areas and see the struggle, and all you can think, is they don't want to do anything, because you are unaware of their daily lives, but I'd put money on the fact, your families company won't even entertain reading their application if they applied for employment at your families company... it's quite evident in your expression and demeanor.

I'm cool.. I'll take it easy, and we can discuss the political matters to any extent, but if you come off with your prejudgment summation of blacks with the slant you state.. I will address it.. because one thing for sure,... I don't try and negatively characterize Asian people, and yes, I'm aware of some things .. they do as well as things others do..
but this matter was not about ethnicities, it is about the climate of the Administration and the economic, and the Veto driven nature of this administration.. honestly, I think.. if you come down a notch off of the , "rich girl" disposition .. you'd fare much better, as you are an intelligent woman, and at times a very humorous individual.. but you have a bit of that elitist additive, which is less attractive in the over-all.. but it may well be the crown of your glory in your personal circles,.. but this is a much broader platform...

on the issue of Candidates.. I was all for Hillary, when the campaign started,... and I also liked Mitt Romney.. as well as Edwards concerns about many issues.. But the manner and mode of Hillary is what changed the tone of things.. this preaching about experience, when she had none as president, and being the First lady was not a given as a shoe-in, for anything.. and then she became to be negative with overt motivation, and the issues became a back door item..

As to the Clinton Administration.. it has it's prosperity, but it also did not have long range vision, this nation was prospering because it was flooded with Korean Goods, and then the China goods rose to a higher level, while companies consolidate and some folded and move away, and then they set up NAFTA, which was a mistake, because, it could not manage nor control the Foreign goods inflow, and none stayed within their quota, China back-doored the US by sending their goods up thru mexico, and staging them in Mexico for assembly, as did s. Korea.. and neither of them took heed of the fact that the inflow of massive goods, further put the US industry at a dis-advantage, and more and more US companies could not compete with products produced by people making 40 cent an hour..and companies one after the other folded and others, laid off workers and began using pre made parts and other things from China, to show a sales mark up, at the expense of the america worker.. They ignored the fact that bubble would burst and saturation would be the result, and a non producing America industrial infrastructure would falter from inability to compete, when quotas were violated and the flooding of the markets was engaged by the imports.. This same thing happened with Japan, when they flooded the market with cheap chips, during the first electronic phase, and later it was found they infringed on TI's copyright and every other copyright that was relative to electronics, and forced the US electronic makers to fold over..and destroyed the price -value relation of the semi conductor and other chip makers markets.. They allowed Toyota to come and build plants, with cheap labor and stripped down benefits, which further made it impractical for the US auto producers to compete on price production levels, because they did not have the foresight to set standards of production cost and wage scales to be on par with the Big three of this nation.. and the US went to making less quality vehicles trying to cut cost to compete, when the situation was wrongly set up, they should have had Toyota to produced based on the equilibrium of scales the US auto makers were facing and dealing with...
Japan will not allow the US to come to it's country and produce a Chevy for less then they spend to produce a Toyota.. nor would china allow the US to come and sell communication services for less than China national companies sell it for.

so now Hillary, comes with a .. "now" , attitude of reforming NAFTA, and she as people forgot .. did the "Travel Gate" give it to my buddie of the White House travel services contracts.. nor do people want to remember the .. behind the doors, ignore the democratic congress with her lone wolf, health care bill.. and the Democratic party felt the snub and did not play into her self grandizing to want to push it for sole credit .. rather than get party support. Just as now.. she flat out ignores the Democratic party, and continues to be divisive within the party and has a disposition to the point, to act as if she does not have to abide by any of the parties recommendations.. which implies that she just may be a president that is no different than Bush, in her blatant disregard and lack of concern for or of the party and it's stand .. she is now on a personal glory mission, more than anything..rather than to step aside and unite the party and build a consensus to forge ahead as a unified party..

to make it with a horny white girl

does this try and imply that the woman has to be less than a woman, because she mated with a black man??

you truly need to work on your nature of seeing people as people, beyond ethnic slants.. you may get yourself in a situation and blurt out your biased demeanor of view on other's and find .. yourself royally embarrassed.. you may find that, money is just money, having it, does not invoke character in anyone...

how is this any different than what other are seeking... if your house is devalued and re-fi'd at a lower rate and lower cost... then you too, contribute to the banks loss.. because they have to write down your loan, which means a loss to them..

so how can you think it's ok.. for you.. to contribute to bank write-downs,with is a loss to the bank.. and other's should not have the same option.. ??

see when people can see their selfish side, but then don't want that allowed for others... that's a true showing of selfish interest only.

Jazz, your words are wise, but I'm not sure they will fall on ears that will hear or understand, I tried in other posting to reasonably and considerately address some previous comments, but it's evident that it did not have any effect nor affect to open the eyes of the realization of people as individuals.. and to leave the stereotyped racism out of it, but it many take some to find out the hard way, by full blown embarrassment before they can gather what are their expression, but it's not a matter so much of the expression, it's what's felt within the heart of the individual doing the expressing. and until that inner self find the wisdom to learn better and understand more broadly, and see people as individuals.. they suffer to be a person who will continually insult themselves in such ways, and as you say.. in some situation.. it can cost her and/or the family their much coveted financial resources.. among the many natures of losses such a racially prejudicial mindset can bring.

I've known people who were extremely poor, in this country and in other countries, of various nationalities.. and I've known people, who have more money than I could look at, if I had all day to do so. but >.. when I see such, I try to envision their struggles and what are their challenges and look at them with an effort to understand, ... the media in years past pushed many stereotyped images of people, in the put down mentality this country was built upon, but we as a people of this world.. fought much, endured much, and some regions still have to fight many challenges, and it has made it better for ALL people, and we as "all" people.. must be aware of what challenges there are to be faced in living and being respected as Individuals.. I've lost grand opportunities because of bias, but I attribute it to an individual, not to a race of people.. It may irk many to see a black man rise as Obama has, but he is a man, and no race of people can be judged by the stature of him as an individual.. but it can show that we all as all people, have the potential to become what we choose.. it makes it such a sad realty, when .. the stereotype seek to demean the efforts of individuals, and discredit a race of people based on a stereotypical conceptualization.. When I visit other countries, I see people, not stereotypes, and I've met some wonderful people, and money had nothing to do with them being an individual... and deserving to be regarded as such.. During my many years of work, I helped all people, and looked at each person as individuals and appreciated their contribution of self, in what they have to offer and how they too, are simply individuals who care to engage opportunity..

Life is an amazing thing.. and it's such a wondrous thing, when we as people can see others as people who are individuals... we find there is more and more and more to appreciate, the more we are open to understand.

all of us.. will never be more than individual.. and that is something that carries it's life uniqueness ... and the more we appreciate that, the more we find the world is unto each with challenges... and we all must find ways to communicate what is regard of one unto the other.

thank you Jeff, I've been writing about these nature of wrong way political situation for quite some time, I know my projections are relative, as I have communicate with some corporate heads, since oil was at below 20$, and each of my projections have been right on, the heads of the company have frequently given positive acknowledgment to my projections and commended me on my market perceptiveness.. it may not have resulted to much of a gain for me personally, but I've seen many of my recommendations put into practice.. ( just have to be smarter and make them pay me for the work)

It amazes me how people at times won't look into the big picture and see the wrongs this Administration has enacted, in every category imaginable, as if this country is being run by a brutal tyrannical terrorist, while he calls others terrorist, who are trying to fend off his assualts. Many care not to consider what they hide from us, which is why they cut out the point in every Bin Laden tape, where he address the undermining the Administrations have done to the Oil producing nations and usurped their process in more ways than the regular news will ever report.. but as people we have to be wise to know what our representing bodies are doing and how they go about doing it, instead of them telling us that we are the angel nations and everyone else is not.. we need to face truth, to find balance and face realism to find harmony... and we have to accept as a nations the need to respect others, and not thing all deals must be cut to our greater benefit at another dis-advantage and then expect them to accept it without question... that is not the way to world peace, that is the feeding of world contempt by a contemptuous aggression of a superiority compelx played out on a world stage, and that.. is not what the average citizen of this nation is about.. we are a peace loving people.. and we need an administration that sees the world in a different light and willing to engage them on a ground of fair play and fair based process. Obama at this stage is the only candidate that is willing to interact with other world leaders on open platform basis. that is what we need to move away from this .. contemptuous aggression.

people have to look with open eyes, not thru the smoke the system pumps thru the machines of propoganda.. but what is real and what is true, and seek the greater truth.

If the world body did what it right it would try Bush as a war Criminal,in the world courts at his personal expense.. He invaded a soverign nation, and lead to the killing of a soverign statesman who was a leader of a independent nation..and caused the malicious displacement of millions of people and maimed many more in the process and infuriated retaliatory acts to exceed far beyond what it was at the onset.. we have 10's of thousands of maimed veterans who are getting sub standard treatment and some even finding their path to homelessness and many atrocities as a result of the acts of a man on a personal mission using the nations as his puppet pool of pawns.. he has ran up a debt we cannot repay, and cost the world many things that would not have come to pass, except by the act and issues that he invoked in the processes of national business for malice of motive..

touch213 69M

it is an American issue, but the acts have been engaged against other countries... which may be of a great consideration aspect..

the nature of threats of sanction, upon others. with the .. "you are with me, or against me".. disposition put forth in the pursuit to get partnership to invade Iraq, that was put forth with very strong insinuations of imposing sanctions, and other natures of imposition and cold shoulder actions ... if they (other countries) did not side with his agenda..

But like ... in many situation, one can be tried in multiple courts, based on the nature of the violation... and there were/are certainly many..
