select VIEW
select ENCODING
select MORE
select CHINESE SIMPLFIED (GB18030) << that works most of the time

if the Chinese has ????? or other symbols that don't look like it is Chinese at all, then you probably need to

select CHINESE TRADITIONAL (BIG5) and that should clear up the problem.

Then if you want a rough translation of what is written then make sure you have the GOOGLE tool bar enabled and
select TRANSLATE THIS PAGE
select CHINESE
and you will have a very rough translation in ENGLISH that should look like your style of writing

Thank you... I will try it out..

I appreciate it, I would like to be able to read some of the writing of the Chinese writers, I'm sure they have many interesting things, and I like very much how their phrasings are laid out, and the various parable relations they use in their expressions..
I've read some before, when it's translated.. I use to copy and paste it.. but that is such a time consuming chore..

if there a possible way, I can use my keyboard to write it???

Touch, the majourity of Chinese on this site write in simplified Chinese. I think this site supports both. Yes, there is a way to write in Chinese using the regular keyboard.

you know, I noticed AN IMPORTANT difference in COMMUNICATION between, many Asian People and Western People. when it comes to question and information..

when a western person, Ask, is there a way...to do this or that, we are generally inquiring for information that comes along with a confirmation response, that "ALSO" conveys... who, how, what, when or where.

where many Asian will only respond with a yes or no...

I think that is something that is a very big thing, in communication, in what matters in.. conversation development.. or it cuts sharply the conversations development.. maybe when people teach language, they should address this very important point.

notice, Vicky's response, she not only told me of how, but included some demonstration guidelines of.. How to...

generally such a question, from Asian to American.. would get a response, of Yes, and then be followed with an example or some parable that demonstrates..

generally such a question, from American to Asian.. would get a response, of just Yes, or No. and that it..

to an american .. it is often time, like playing 7 note of the music scale.. and be left hanging.. waiting on the 8th note. ( which starts a new octave... but completes the one played.. and then the option to play further.. is available.. but when it stops on the 7th note.. it leave thing in a odd position.. it's not complete.. but it also is not ready to continue the "flow"...

{not always, but it matters of the feeling tones, if it's a verbal conversation, and the inferences of feeling tones when written".. and to when.. more info is engaged..

some thing require only a yes or no... and some thing, require a yes and no.. with follow up... and it variates based on the situation, the perspective and the nature of what, when, how and what for.. the questions are posed...

I think this may be how.. many times, American asking Asian a question, it is easy to be interpreted as if they don't want to talk much.
and conversely, the Asian Asking an American a question, they get, a yes, an example or demonstration.. and some Asian think we talk too much..

I think this is very important for people cross cultures to understand about how each other communicates... I bet it would make a lot of relationships communicate more smoothly..

I noticed this some years ago when I was in HKG.. Many of the Asian would give a yes or no response to many things, and then I'd have to ask a follow up question.. of .. Ok.. you said yes, now tell me how, or tell me when, or tell me where, or tell me who..

I'd bet in many Western to Asian to Western relationships.. this is probably more a factor in how their communication breaks down.. than maybe anything else..

quite an interesting.. example.. hopefully it's beneficial to many... to consider this example..

Thank you... I understand that I was not specific in how and what I asked in the context that you explain... but over-all that's good,.. now I know better how you communicate.

Remember, Asians tend to answer a question based on how you ask it.

WHO
WHAT
WHEN
WHERE
WHY
HOW

The best way to ask is HOW since

WHO - him
WHAT - that
WHEN - soon
WHERE - there
WHY - because
HOW - very detailed answer
