At first yes, but now no.

Yes, it is possible but like normal relationships, needs extra effort on both parts.

sadly, half the people don't believe in the love they have right their in their homes... when they are not being patronized, they are ready to go,. when they can't manipulate the other with guilt games they are ready to do.. and for sure, soon as the money gets low, they are ready to go.. what matters about love, is what people give the least of matter about.. and that's developing .. compassionate understanding".. most of the people as it appears in this site.. are only concerned about getting some ego elation, with hope it gets them someone else money... or someone to play suck up games to them.. while they play stand offish games.

I think it is extremely difficult to have a long distance relationship if it is with a total stranger. In the cybernet you can hide behind anyone's pictures and claim to be someone you are not. I have several friends who met someone on line who in the end was not what they pretended to be. Lots of people just want to kill time or fulfill their fantasy by chatting with a total stranger and pretenting to be someone they are not. It is a shame because many woman, especially those in China or other Asian countries are so trusting of western men. VICKY glad she's got a real boy friend she can hug when she needs hugging

I'll preface my answer with this quote; "The eyes cannot see what the heart feels". I've now gone through the Asia Friendfinder thoroughly for about 8 months, had my share of looks, emails, questions, answers, I love you, and the bottom line seems to always be the same, when are you coming to visit, I have a child, I will come penniless into the relationship, and the I love you comes much too quickly. The other posters have "made light of" telling someone you love them without actually seeing them. My answer to that is, they are many kinds of love, we love our pets, we love our children, we love foods, we love art, perhaps using the word love is just a way of expressing a feeling you have for what you see and hear thus far. Real love is not something that happens very often in a person's life, in fact if you have been in love one time in your life, it is rare. I was fortunate in having been in love once. Now I like what I see in a great deal of the opposite gender, but can it be love without being or interacting with this person, it's possible, the heart will never lie and it tells the mind and eyes what it feels, we then pursue based on the heart's interpretation. I would base my feelings on what I see and hear, while it may seem like love, it is probably some sort of infatuation for this person, but given time it could possibly turn into genuine love. If you set your sights too high, you may become bitter and disappointed, conversely if you let the heart rule your actions, you may be surprised of the results. Most chance meetings, without proper development, are likened to the affair being the "honeymoon" before the marriage. It's all too beautiful for words, but then reality sets in: What the hell did I just do? Good Post. JJB "Once you've tasted love, its just the beginning of a new world"
