Would you date someone with a social disease?

You meet someone nice, chat on the phone and agree to go to dinner. When she gets to the restaurant you can see she's texting someone. You arrange for a table and the two of you sit and make some small talk while the waitress gets some drinks. Again, in-between chatting with you she appears to be focused on messages coming to her phone every minute or two.

She excuses herself to go to the Ladies room and takes her cell phone. The restaurant isn't busy, but she doesn't return for about 15 minutes. Again when she returns to the table, she seems preoccupied with the cellphone and not you.

Eventually, the two of you order food and officially start your date !

Again, the date is interrupted with her messaging. Oh, "it's my sister" she said... or maybe it's her mom. Who cares? she's on a date with you and hopefully you can have one hour alone to see if this is the girl for you.

The food arrives and your meaningless chat is overcome with her talks about what is happening on Facebook, or is it MySpace... maybe a mention of Twitter and she's back on the phone sending messages.

It's then you realize this woman has a social disease...

Social networking is controlling her life.
.
What do you do next?
.
Pretend everything is good and ignore her bad manners?
Tell her to turn off her phone as it's affecting the date?
Realize the date has gone sour and leave the restaurant?
Ask her for her Twitter so the two of you can Tweet all night...

She doesn't care about you, why should you??

Say good-bye to her and walk away. I voted for "Realize the date has gone sour and leave the restaurant".

Honesty is the best policy.

    Quoting  :

chengduese1000, obviously you 'don't get it'.

Why would a man waste money on dinner with a rude woman who wasn't mature enough to show respect on the first date?

You can see by the number of votes most people agree. This behavior should NOT be rewarded by giving the woman a free meal and playing along with her.

Don't mistake gentleman for fool. They are two different things.

Darwin, yeah... that's true for older cars.
I bought a 2014 model and there is no key lock from the passenger side (and hatchback) you can open the car with a key only from the driver's door. One flick of the key opens the drivers door and two flicks opens all the doors. The same procedure works for the remote.

Gentleman or not, you have to unlock all the doors to let your passenger in.
