Taking a swig...

As a growing up in my parents house, if you put your mouth to a drink in the refrigerator that wasn't yours, you could get yourself in serious trouble. It was okay if the last gulp or two remained and you finished it off from the bottle but you better not get caught taking a swig and putting the rest back.

Pour yourself a drink was the key phrase. If you want something... pour yourself a drink.

I was in a hurry the other day and took a swig of ice tea... putting the container back into the refrigerator. Yes, it was my tea but I felt guilty doing it.
