Burnie...

My father liked to cook quick meals. He and my mother had their own recipes for spaghetti sauce. My moms version took 4 hours. My dad had it done in less than 30 minutes. Did it taste the same? No way... but it was better than most!

The one thing about my dad was his ability to put something to cook and TOTALLY forget about it. Because of this, my (ex) wife named him Burnie. We would usually visit on Sunday and her greeting to my dad usually would be "Hi Burnie... whatcha cooking today?" since they got along very well, he would share in his technique for whatever he had cooked and we would be amazed to see the results.
