I accompanied my eldest in her 3 day school outing. This is a traditional way of celebrating after (almost) finishing the 4th grade in elementary school. The teacher and 2 more mothers were present, we guided 18 between 9 & 10 year olds in all their activities. We stayed in "Jugendherberge" in Cochem along Moseltal, about 1 and half hour drive from our place. This region is also known for those famous weins. We had so much activities, visited some famous castle of the region, Freizeit park (like a small disneyland), ride the lift climbing to the mountain, night swimming, visitation of famous curry factory, etc. Overall, though tiring, it was a wonderful experience.
At first when she approached me, I was hesitant bec. I dunno where to bring my other 2 . But then she told me, she wants to enjoy her last elementary schooling with me, alone, without the bro. and sis. In short, she found a way of who will take care of them. Sibling rivalry is quite strong at these stage for them...the last time she had my full attention was when she was 18 mos. old. Well, I try to explain her in a way that she could comprehend, that I love them all equally and the presence of her other siblings wouldn`t mean I love her less..
It was a wonderful time for me and my . My little best friend was so sweet and loving, was a renewed friendship between the two of us

The Result!

Today, I got the result from my intensive german study, the Certificate and the Grade. I am happy `coz it turned out better than I expected. I got the highest note 1, something I can be proud of myself. Well, thanks for my inspiration (my ) and my ex. who gave me the challenge. He thought that bec. my german is poor, I couldn`t help my in their learning/developing.
I took his critics very positively Just because you don`t know the language, it doesn`t mean you`re really dumb.
My education is not recognized here in Germany. I have to start from the "beginning" if I need to, but at this time, I can`t afford to start all over again. My are my immidiate priority.
And this note can be my starting point like continue the language study for further level/education, or take another course and even going to University
What makes me further happy is that I made my proud of me. With that note, given the normal circumstances, it can also send me to Gymnasium, the highest level of school in Germany.
Well, my purpose is only to integrate myself. With this new Gesetz (law) in changing citizenship, no certificate, no chance... and this is the next step I want to do

Today, I`m homebound but....

My two school are still sick. They both got chicken pox and that will take days or even a week. On the other side, it`s good that they have it now, better than later in life. So, am not really too worried. So, I try to do something worthwhile thatn usual, to make use of my time, hi,hi,hi.
Another funny thing happened. Some (actually 2) delivery men/post came and asked a favor If I could accept the delivery for my neighbor, the packages belong to one stays next house to mine and the other across the street. Of course, why not?
But these guys, aside from being friendly, the next thing they asked is.. are you married? I wonder if they didn`t noticed the behind me . Oh well, the fact is, foreigner can`t just stay in Europe unless you`re married to a EU or German national. So they asked a question with an obvious answer. Actually they should have asked, were you married?
Actually, this not only happened once but several times already. I wonder If some of them are member of AFF hopefully not
Actually my thought is that, isn`t sometimes a good feeling if somebody noticed you? Makes you MORE confident of yourself. Just my two cents.
A friend of mine told me, it`s already there, something that people noticed, that`s why they give a second looked.
Well, maybe I`m privileged. I am staying in a small village, about 600 houses and we almost "know" each other. At least the neighborhood knew me, since I`m the only filipina inside the village. So, you can imagine if I go to street, always wearing that smile!

Spring time, Flowers in the Air!

I love flowers of all kinds. I enjoy seeing them every morning in the lawn. Wild flowers fascinate me. I remember mentioned in the Bible such splendor of beauty, not even Solomon had it.
So beautiful yet here today and gone tomorrow . So, I love watching it grow in the fields as this is the time of the year to see them in full splendor.
Just funny but I will share it to you. Last week, I wished I could get a flower from a guy )Yes, it came true, I´ve been receiving for 4 days now. But I think we must be specific in our wishes. I should have mentioned, from a BIG guy
Well, it`s my 7 year old bringing me flowers everyday. The best flowers I get as they`re not bought but hand picked. He`s not fond of kissing but he expresses his feeling by giving me flowers I guess boys are like that, hi,hi,hi!
Anyway, Happy Spring time to everyone

We Are Only Young But Once.....

Today is my Birthday!! But I don`t usually celebrate it, I just stay alone by myself.
And on Saturday, it`s my 5 year old `s birthday and on Sunday, It´s my 9 year old `s birthday.
My doctor once asked me, why we celebrate the same time of the year, and the result are babies
Anyway, I had this to ponder:
Once in a lifetime, we are young, vibrant, full of life, energy, full of dreams and hopes. It's good to look back on those times, specially if during those wonderful years, we were inspired, we were happy, and we were surrounded with people who meant so much to us.
Isn't it wonderful to be young? We didn't have to care about the serious problems in this world, because we had our parents who protected us from all the hazards and struggles this world had always beset us with?
Isn't it a very secured feeling to be always sheltered from every storm and hurdles?...But, life is such that every YOUNG ONES become a YOUNG ONCE, and we are here to tell the different stories in our lives, and share the lessons that we learn.
LIVE TODAY AS IF IT WERE OUR LAST...AND MAKE THE MOST OUT OF IT...FOR WE WILL NEVER PASS THIS WAY AGAIN...WE ARE ONLY YOUNG BUT ONCE...

The Handy-Woman...
A blonde, wanting to earn some extra money, decided to hire herself out
as a "handy-woman" and started canvassing a nearby well-to-do
neighborhood.
She went to the front door of the first house, and asked the owner if he
had any odd jobs for her to do. "Well, I guess I could use somebody to
paint my porch," he said. How much will you charge me?" The blonde
quickly responded, "How about $50?"
The man agreed and told her that the paint and everything she would need
was in the garage.
The man's wife, hearing the conversation, said to her husband, "Does she
realize that our porch goes all the way around the house?" He responded,
"That's a bit cynical, isn't it? The wife replied, "You're right. I
guess I'm starting to believe all those dumb blonde jokes we've been
getting by e-mail lately."
A short time later, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.
"You're finished already?" the man asked. "Yes," the blonde replied,
"and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats." Impressed, the man
reached into his pocket for the $50.00 and handed it to her.
"And by the way," the blonde added, "it's not a Porsche, it's a Lexus."
