I need a new world

Sometimes I wonder why I still correspond with this old fart. Her world revolves around letting the cats out and going to the market. It gets on my nerve but I seem too polite to 'dump' her.

I am just wasting my time playing I don't know what. I am losing my marbles, perhaps. I need to move on.

Well, folks. it had been fun to be here but I am moving on.

The blog, of the same name, is hosted at my own site. There, I have editorial control, unlike here, where innocuous words were censored. We are adults and there is nothing squeamish about commonly used swear words.

Visit me at my other site. It has cool features too.Ciao!

Best regards.

Is this all a dream?

Sometimes I wonder.A long bad dream? ... and then I wake up to find, with a sigh of relief, that this was what it is, just a long, bad dream.

Moreover, maybe we are all just part of a dream or maybe an excellent computer game. All our existence, our movements and that we are acting out like those you see in computer games; we are just the actors in a complex plot to be enjoyed by those who play this game.

Everday thousands of us are born, thousands die. We are just part of the eco-system but being humans bestowed with far greater intelligence we are screwing up in this planet.

Well, 2007 had gone and 2008 is upon us. I had spent a bit of time tidying up things and reorganised my communication hub. Initial thoughts would suggest the wonder application, suuposed to be, of Microsoft family of applications but a bit of researched suggested otherwise. Facebook is my preferred choice. I like the Outlook though and I still maintain my MSN email account.Yahoo is definitely out, completely.Too many annoying advertisements.

So it is Facebook, MSN email for me and of course Skype which I use in the office.

Cheers! and a Happy New Year.

“ROSANNA ARQUETTE: Falling in love again”

Falling in, falling out, shake it all about. Well read all about it at the Times, “Could Rosanna Arquette be Mrs Macca No 3?”

I try not to be a skeptic, cynical even. She is 48, married three times. Likewise, Sir Paul McCartney was twice married and he, 66 years old. I am really fascinated with this ‘love’ thingy at senior citizen age level. Something, if it happens to me, will be a great discovery, like stumbling upon a lost tribe in the Amazon jungle.

Well, Monday had come and gone. Mystic Meg was only right on the first part which is on the business front. On the love side, luck is as good as the piddling arse-hole. Maybe we should unify all the dating sites of the world, powered by a zillion bytes, and the perfect match would be spewed out, down to the last hair follicle.

I had one lady who did not seem to go beyond, “hello”, “how are you”. You post a reply and then she remain silent and then a day or two later she would pop up again and repeat those two phrases. Little wonder why she is still single. How many of those’ success stories’ are real? I wonder.

Mystic Meg knows what I wish for. Let us see what she has in store for me, or rather the zillions of Geminians this weekend.

“You can find the words to soothe moods at home and ensure two different groups of people will find a way to get along.

The moon checks in to your birthsign to give you a sexy magic and the wisdom to use it on the right person.

Special words will be spoken in a meal break.”

Hmmm.. Not much to go on. “Meal break”? Hope it is not the last supper.

In need of inspiration

Oh, gosh! I am feeling brain dead and it is only Thursday. Actually, I had been brain dead since Monday.

For some reason my mind seems to have gone blank. Like a flat battery. Ideas are not flowing. Good news trickle in, at least on the business side, like Mystic Meg said. On the love side, apart from the intermittent would be suitors, there is not a great leap of progress in that there is no 'ideal' woman who promise to ignite my love life and that will turn it into a great flame of love.

Great to hear some guy called, Sarkozy, just fresh from divorce, dating some supermodel named Bruni. It helps if you are the French President, of course.

Last weekend, I had a deluge of e-mails, from , Filipinas, some as young as 20 years old writing to me. Can't be Easter Sunday for that had long came and went. Strange.

I need some inspiration to make something specacular happens. Back to the drawing board. Sigh...

Mystic Meg: My week ahead

After a weekend of somewhat mixed emotions, let us see what ‘Mystic Meg’ (the Sun) has to say about us Geminians.

“Before Jupiter moves on, you hear words that give you confidence about the future and the love choices you make.
Someone with the same name as one of your parents will play an intriguing role in your future.
As determination is added to talent, you start to fulfil a dream.”

Hmm… can hardly wait, “you hear words”. I am all ears. “Love choices”? Don’t even have any one to chose from yet; well, no one in particular that have set my heart on fire, unless it has something to do with my secret dream.

That “same surname” bit is intriguing is really intriguing as I have two sets of parents ‒ so which one will it be? Zheng, Lim, Ngui or , erm.. don’t even know biological mum’s surname. Need to find out next time when I meet her.

Boy! Am i stressed out. Dealing with morons. Silly restive season is here, people have left for hols and my own plans in tatters.

Sometimes I wonder why people act silly at this time of the year. Silly party hats, hangovers overeating - I am glad I am no longer part of this insane hive of human activities at this time of the year.

I had planned for a quiet week with my 10 year old in Harbin, China but have not got down to securing our plane tickets yet. She will be 10 on the 26th. though I am not sure she would like to spend time with her old man.

Sigh....
