This weekend I met that Korean guy from here I told you about. He's cute, smart, funny, kind,
a gentleman and likes me alot. It's all good except that he's trying to move to California for better work in his field. With the custody situation, I'd never be able to move far, so we can't be serious and we'll be dating other people eventually.
I just like the time I'm with him alot. You know when you're around some people you just feel very happy because of the way they treat you. He's one of those people.
Note to Piggy: I'm still very excited about trying to ball room dance with you. Let's do that
together in a couple of weeks.

Well, yesterday's 10th stage was the most exciting of the races so far for me. I used to do time trials only, but every time I see a bike race I want to run out and ride on mine. Anyway, this tenth stage was exciting the last kilometer. The fifth rider seemed to be blocked at every angle from sprinting. You could see him relax- stretch by standing or extending his legs while the others gave it their all. Then while they were busy blocking each other on the left during the last 400 meters, he sprinted not passing on the left, but right up the right side. He was able to do this easily as there was a wall to his right. So cool, he seemed to take the other four by surprise. Wow, what I loved most about it was that you could almost see what he was thinking the whole time by his actions. First take it easy. Then move up slowly. Try to pass a little on the left. Wait for them to tire themselves out by sprinting too soon and then
just give it all up the right side at the end. Good strategy.
The guy who won the 11th stage today also won by going up the right side.
Well, now you know what to do should you ever get in the Tour de France, lol!
Okay, okay, I'll get back to housework......lol

I was on the phone a lot this morning. It's also 96 degree F here, so I didn't want to do too much more. Anyway, my seven year old came in the room and put toy handcuffs on me. He then announced, "That's for lumping around the house."
Haaaaaaa.......
I then took him and his sister out to a movie.
LOL
No more "lumpin" and "Heaven Almighty" was worth seeing for all ages.

A Hoot

Well, it was an absolute hoot. I'm tanner, my hair is blonder, I lost five pounds and I'm ready to take on the world again.
Let's see. While at Disney world, we went to The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Downtown Disney, and Animal Kingdom. We didn't do Blizzard Beach because my dad had a problem with his foot, so I just took the to the resort pool. It had giant flowers that rained down water on the swimmers.
The food there was also an experience in and of itself. We ate Mexican in a Mayan temple, French with real French people, must be why they gave themselves a 25% tip, English out on a patio, Moroccan, with waiters with fezzes on their heads, a crab house on a river boat, the Rain forest Cafe, with Animatronic jungle Animals and cool chaser lights glasses, and an American Colonial restaurant with period costumed waiters/waitresses. Yes, the eating experience was just as good as the rides.
As to the rides, my 70 year old parents went on the "Yeti" roller coaster ride with us. They loved it. I liked the dino ride because the annimatronic dinosaurs get pretty close to the ranger. Oh,Jack Sparrow in The Pirates ride really looks like Johnny Depp.
As to other things, my dad bought me two sets of mickey shaped earrings some English lavender body lotion (haven't smelled this since my England trip) and rose perfume for my . Anyway, they were actually made in England.
Besides this, I got to see my best friend and her new Bulgarian hubby. We went out for drinks after the wee ones were asleep and babysitted by my parents.
And of course we saw the fireworks. That really put the lid on a great vacation.
Now I miss eating out for every meal, having my bed made for me, and having fun things to do everyday. But I guess that's what makes vacations special. Well, this has been my favorite vacation ever. It was more so because of the people there. This may be the last time my parents, my and my best friend ever get to do this with me all together. Unless I hit the lottery. Hmmm, I should go check my ticket.....lol!

Yes, on Monday I'm off to Disney World with my family and friends until July 1st. I can't wait. I think I want to go even more than the , if that's possible. I'll do the parks there with my parents and during the day. Then while my parents nap, I'll take the swimming. Then at night, I'll go out with my best friend and her new hubby. They've got night clubs there right at Disney World at a place called Pleasure Island. I am just going to forget all my troubles and have fun for a week. Again, I can't wait. LOL

Well, after more than a year of pining over this guy, I'm back out there. It's like the tv show from the 60's or 70's, and even more like the board game I had as a little girl. There are guys who like to do different things. Let's see one was the picnic guy, I liked him. Then the ski guy. The guy in the tux, yum. And then the nerd that anytime the door in the game opened to him we all screamed, lol!
Anyway, in real life, let's see. I met a guy for ice tea. He was nice, but I just wasn't attracted to him. I shook his hand as I left, lol! I let him know after the meeting that there just wasn't that spark in an email. I hated doing that, so I decided to be more careful with the next guy. I picked a guy I was sure I had a spark with. I met him once. He told me he was attracted to me, so we went out. Then in three days, he wrote me an email telling me that he began to think of a future with me (I thought only women did that after first dates, lol) and that there was too much disparity in our ages. Well, ten years is alot, but, oh, well, never mind. All he got was a kiss anyway.
So, I've been talking to this guy on here from Korea. He seems nice, so I'll meet him in July when I get back from Florida. I'll let ya know if we click. Oh, and I made certain I sent him a full body recent shot, so he knows exactly what I look like. That's best with men being visual creatures. He wrote me back saying that he liked what he saw, so one less worry.
OH, and I got an email from the second guy I went out with just wanting to know how I'm doing and if I'm dating. Blah, what does he care if I'm too old for him?
Is this like Seks In The City? LOL, mine's more for a G rated audience, sigh......

When In The Thick of It

Do you have to share your lover's passions? I mean, if he likes monster trucks do you feel obligated to go with him. Should he go with friends? But what if you want him to go to a play with you? Should you expect him to go? Should you just go with your friends? How much together time is too much? If you know that your mate is only going with you to please you, should you let him off the hook? What if your friends aren't interested in what you want to go to?
I'm not into watching sports. Doing them is great, but I think they are kinda boring to watch. If it's something he really wants to watch, I might watch it for a little just to be with him, but then I'd have to get something else to do.
What about other tv viewing? Who gets the remote? When married, The Evil One, told me that I couldn't have the remote after he got home because I had it all day. Well, first of all, I had to work and didn't get to watch it. Second, there were only soaps on during the day. Hmmm.
I guess it all comes down to mutual respect. If you really love someone, you'll take turns and look out for their interests as well as your own.

Good movie, bring a pillow though,'cause it's so long your butt will get sore. I know my leg fell asleep once. Anyway, I liked it, but I didn't like that Jack didn't get the girl. I mean, common, that could have brought him around. Made him human, but noooooooo, they had to make him an insane babbling idot, lol! Oh, well, maybe in Pirates 4 or are they done with the thing?

Chinese Blogger Registration

I read in Yahoo News just now that citizens of China will have to register their real name in order to blog. I'm an open book, so I'd have no qualms about this, but then again, I don't live in a country that would punish me for having different political ideas. Or maybe I do, lol! Anyway, I don't think the US is as bad. So to the point, I think this is a big mistake.

Think for a moment of a tea kettle. It's got a hole in the top to do more than whistle when your tea water is done. The steam is released so that the lid doesn't blow off your kettle. What's going to happen when people can't blow off innocent steam? I think they might actually act upon their opinions when they feel they have no other recourse. This could do more to harm the Chinese government than help it.

Like the parent who is too strict with his the no longer becomes an independent thinker. Every act must be dictated until it is all time consuming for the parent. Instead, the smart parent allows the reasonable freedoms to foster a mentally healthy . Like , the mental health of the citizens of China would greatly be improved if they too could be given the chance to act responsibly before they are reprimanded.

Why do I care about China? Because I am a citizen of the world and have a responsibility then to stand up for all violations of human rights. But more so because it is a mistake that the Chinese Government could easily rectify.

So how will this affect Chinese bloggers on AFF? I haven't read one political blog, well, except my own, but I write about everything, lol! I've read jokes, poems, stories, but nothing political from others. Then again, I can't read Mandarin, so I am missing out on a lot. Anybody know what I'm missing?

Yep, it's better than the first and second graphically. I just wish my fav character Puss in Boots had more lines, sigh....
Anyway, any time spent with the wee ones is good.
