so their can have them.
They go to the doctor
with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.

about a birth or a new marriage.

Racing through life is very stressful.
If we stay in high gear too long,
we lose our ability to shift down.
And when we're stressed, we
can't access happiness, appreciation, fun,
compassion, generosity, awareness of beauty and
other wonderful qualities.
High stress also
triggers negative emotions like
frustration, impatience, anger and fear.
Life has so much to offer
if we will slow down
and truly experience it.
We must always remember
that we are the ones in control of the
accelerator. We CAN choose to brake.
"Slow down and enjoy life."
It's not only the scenery you miss by
going too fast - You also miss the sense
of where you are going and why.

Cleaning House

Last week I threw out Worrying
it was getting old and in the way.
It kept me from being me;
I couldn't do things my way.
I threw out those Inhibitions;
they were just crowding me out.
Made room for my New Growth,
get rid of my old dreams and doubts.
I threw out a book on MY PAST
(didn't have time to read it anyway).
Replaced it with New Goals,
started reading it today.
I threw out childhood toys,
remember how I treasured them so?
Gote me a NEW PHILOSOPHY too,
threw out the one from long ago.
Bought in some new books too,
called I CAN, I WILL, and I MUST.
Threw out I Might, I Think and I Ought.
WOW, You should've seen the dust.
I ran across an OLD FRIEND,
haven't seen Him in a while,
I remember His name is GOD,
Yes, I really like His style.
He helped me do some cleaning
and added some things Himself.
Like PRAYERS, HOPE and FAITH,
Yes, I placed them right on the shelf.
I picked up this special thing
and placed it at the front door.
I FOUND IT .... its called PEACE.
Nothing gets me down anymore.
Yes, I've got my house looking nice,
Looks good around the place.
For things like Worry and Trouble
there just isn't any place.
It's good to do a little house cleaning,
get rid of the old things on the shelf.
It sure makes things brighter;
maybe YOU should try it yourself.

THINK ABOUT THIS
1. At least 5 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you, in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you, is because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you, can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. Without you, someone may not be living.
8. You are special and unique, in your own way.
9. Someone that you don't know even exists, loves you.
10. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
11. When you think the world has turned it's back on you, take a look, you most likely turned your back on the world.
12. When you think you have no chance at getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you believe in yourself, you probably sooner or later will get it.
13. Always remember compliments you received, forget about the rude remarks.
14. Always tell someone how you feel about them, you will feel much better when they know.
15. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.

Why Do We Need Friends?

We need friends for many reasons,
all throughout the four seasons.
Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
We need friends to comfort us when we are sad,
and to have fun with us when we are glad.
We need friends to give us good advice.
We need someone we can count on to treat us nice.
We need friends because we are social in nature
and having friends makes us feel secure.
We needs friends to remember us once we have passed ,
sharing memories that will always last.
That's why I need YOU!
Friendship doesn't need everyday conversation,
doesn't always need togetherness.
As long as the relationship is kept in the heart,
True friends never go apart!
