Born in Taiwan, I moved to U.S. with my family at 12. While genetically 100% Chinese, culture-wise I like to think of myself as 50% American and 50% Chinese, combining the best qualities of both Eastern and Western worlds (sort of like that hybrid creature from the movie "Underworld", described as "half-vampire, half-werewolf, yet stronger than both!")
I guess my intro line said it all: I like watching TVs and movies. For some unknown reasons, over the years I've picked up the habit of memorizing movie/TV quotes I find worthy of remembrance, I guess I am just a hopeless romantic for these beautifully written words that represent the ingenuity of human minds. Having said that, here are some of my favorite lines I like to share:

Aside from this quirky habit, I am an honest and levelheaded person trying to find friends and possibly my soul mate here. I have been a veteran in the workforce, started working right after I got my Master's Degree in Engineering at 23. My career goal for the next few years is to work my way up to the position of Chief Engineer. Although my work is very important to me, I do realize there is more to life than just work, such as the need for human intimacy. I sleep a lot, having no problem staying in bed for 10+ hours a day if allowed, resting up for the longer road ahead so to speak. I also exercise regularly to keep myself in shape, which is probably the reason I still keep a sub-30 inch waistline as of today. I went back to Taiwan in the summer of 2007 for almost 3 months during an extended business trip, where I enrolled in a local yoga class, turns out I actually had some talents in this area. Even after I came back to the States, I still practice some of the moves I remember from the class at night in my room, can't wait for my next business trip to Taiwan so I can learn some more yoga!
