I'm an independent person, sincere and honest. I have a full time career that keeps me very busy during the week and I work some hours on the weekend, as well. I'm not much into the party scene or clubs. I prefer small dinners, hiking, walking on and off beaten trails with my best friend, Yako (German Shepard), going to the movies and traveling local and as far away as possible. I enjoy good conversation.
I was married for ten years with an Asian lady; which resulted in two wonderful kids. I thought that we would be a family forever, but unfortunately, we had a bump in our marriage that drew us apart, but we are both committed to parenting our children together. My princess is 15 and my clown is 12. I enjoy being a dad with both of them, though, it can be challenging at times but I try to be the best dad that I can possibly be. I do spend a number of weekends and weekdays with them.
I'm interesting in develop a long-term relationship with someone. It may be a long shot to meet that person here, but I believe trying is better than not. If I end up just making a good friend by meeting you, I would be open to that, as well. I always say what I think and sometimes regret some of the things I say, but, I'm working on catching myself before hurting someone's feelings. There are no two people out there that have the same 100% values and interests in common; that would be a bit boring. So, I'm looking for someone with some differences and similarities.
I believe solid relationship begins with attraction, but true feelings develop over time and need to be maintained by complete trust in one another and communication. I do realize that it takes time for two people to get to know each other and build a meaningful relationship. If you are into it with the mind set of long term, than you are more willing to work out issues, rather than just throw your hands and say, "Well, I guess that didn't workout." I've learned a lot from being married and then, divorcing to see where both myself and my ex-wife made some mistakes; so I think I am now able to hopefully, try again to make a go at having a lasting, fulfilling relationship.

I'm looking for a wonderful inner beauty. I'd like to start off with a friendship at first; I think all relations should start here. Someone who loves been simple. A woman who knows what she wants out of life, where she come from, and also, someone that can listen to how both of our days were and make each others better before we say good night. But, overall a lady who genuinely wants to be with a working man. I truly like to meet someone whom I can respect and treat as an equal. I believe that chemistry is vital in developing a relationship; both should be not afraid to a commitment otherwise, it will be just a waste of time.
