Always difficult to describe objectively and there are never enough words. But, here are a few highlights...
I have a master's degree in performing arts, may pursue a doctorate, and am relatively successful as a musician and teacher. I am well traveled, lived in Bali for a few years, been to Singapore, Malaysia, Borneo East Malaysia, Taipei, Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong, been to 48 states and counting, Canada and Mexico.
I speak Indo/Malay, understand a bit of Tagalog and would like to learn more Mandarin and Japanese someday.
I am financially stable, with a healthy retirement account and no debt other than a small mortgage on my home. I have never been married and have no children. My only remaining family is my father and I hope to broaden my family life in the future.
I love most all kinds of food and enjoy trying new things. I am adventurous but sane, passionate about things that really matter and very laid back about everything else. I have a good dog that I adopted and rehabilitated from the street. I also love cats and most animals and don't even kill insects if I can herd them out the door.
I treat people kindly and expect the same. Very few people can live up to the same standards I expect of myself, so I have a lot of acquaintances but few true friends. Once you are a true friend, you are a friend for life and I will stand by you through the worst of times.
I currently have long hair, but may cut it soon. I originally let it grow in homage to my late mother, then kept it because everyone else was shaving their heads and I like to be different. I am NOT a rocker bad boy.

I do not have "yellow fever" as some would call it. But, I do have a true appreciation and affinity for Asian culture and people. It would be nice to have a mate who can relate to that.
