Love almost all types of music (not hippity-hop) but I have to say rock/folk genre of the 60's is my favorite. And classical music, too (WQXR rocks, baby!). And of course, Frank Sinatra. I have played piano in the past and should really take it up again, can play electric bass and I'm currently torturing an acoustic guitar. Might be too old to join a garage punk band. Gabba gabba hey!
Recently completed several professional certification programs at NYU, and enjoyed Manhattan's fast-beat energy.
In graduate school I was able to experiment with a wind tunnel. It was a blast!
I have a nerdy, technical background (was a television engineer in the past).
My dream vacation: A cruise which starts in Italy for its culture and architecture, on to Greece, the cradle of Western Civilization and the beauty of its isles, then the Holy Land for its own sake, and finally on to Egypt for its fascinating history and edifices. Come along if you can.
I used to be a big sports fan but now, not so much. I'd rather go out and DO something than watch.
