Hi, I've gotten a few questions as to why my profile is "still" on AFF! Basically I put this profile here quite a few years ago to try it out. It didn't work too well so I'm not expecting to actually meet anyone here any more. But my profile is still here in case a cute girl who would like to live in the US finds my profile and thinks I'm cute, too, and writes. Until then...

Who am I? I’m single, Caucasian, early 40’s, never been married, college educated (Master’s in Engineering), nice guy. I’m quiet when meeting new people, but once I know someone I like to joke and clown around. I enjoy simple things like taking a walk with my dog, making things in my woodshop, taking care of my house, reading, watching movies, etc... But if a good rock concert comes to town, I am there! I like to constantly learn new things. I can play drums, I have been trying my hand at growing Sago palms lately. I would say I am a renaissance man because I try to be knowledgeable about a lot of things and keep an open mind. I can debate both sides of many arguments if you want me to! I’m not a party animal and I don’t dance. However, I will be happy to tickle you until you’re breathless or push you across the parking lot in a shopping cart so I guess I still like to be a kid. I like to ride bikes, hike, camp, or just throw a frisbee. I also don’t plan on getting fat so I go to the gym 2-3 times a week and eat sensibly - just don’t try and take away my pizza!
I try to be considerate of others, I hold doors open for people behind me, although if you get to the door first you have to open it! If someone drops something I’ll pick it up for them. Little things, but that’s how I am. I’m not a religious person, so if that is important to you it could be a problem. But to be fair, I think I live up to the ideals of most religions almost all the time.
My Ideal Person:
I’m looking for a woman who is comfortable to be with and is pleasant almost all the time. Someone who can gently get her views across. At least some sort of college, preferably a 4 year degree. Someone who reads a newspaper and can discuss just about anything that might be important. Attractive without a lot of makeup (but who knows how to use makeup in order to look sophisticated), slim, and most importantly, fit. I like to exercise and would like someone who is in as good a shape as me, or better! I love long silky hair, any height is OK, 22-35 yrs old. A good talker with a good sense of humor to keep things light most of the time, but able to be serious when the mood is right.
