How to Record a Video Introduction

Make sure that your webcam and microphone are hooked up and transmitting properly.

Click the Record button to start recording.

Click the Stop button to end the recording. Recordings must be at least 10 seconds long.

The next page will let you add a title, description, and privacy setting.

On the Manage Your Videos page, you can change the sort order and delete videos. You can re-record as many times as you like.

Tips for successful video

Speak clearly and slowly.
Make sure the room where you record is well-lit, and look into the camera when you speak.
If you have a slow connection, too much movement will make the video seem choppy. Limit your on-screen movements for better quality.
