Most importantly, I’m a very good person. I’m stable and responsible, kind and considerate, supportive and helpful, and make an intelligent and interesting companion. Both commitment-friendly and -friendly, I have a warm, caring, playful side, and a somewhat more serious intellectual-curious side. I’m healthy in body, mind, and spirit, and have a very youthful attitude.
In my life, I have tried to use my hands and my heart, as well as my head. For example, although I’ve been well educated, and continue to enjoy a 30+ year professional career (often working with ), I’ve also learned all manner of construction and house repair, cabinet and furniture making, and I enjoy especially creating warm, artistic environments (such as my office and my home). I play just a little bit of 3 musical instruments, and I also co-own a small, fun Café here in Marin County.
I have been married once, for 21 years, which ended about 7 years ago, and have two grown (: jazz keyboardist in New York, : yoga teacher in Hawaii). I have 3 siblings (all in long-term marriages), and a Father and Stepmother who have been very happily married for more than 44 years.
I am a very accommodating and non-judgmental person, and get along with many different kinds of people. I am, however, somewhat the artistic/creative type, and I do admire those with such talents, including those who are interested in architecture and design. But I also love to learn about all kinds of technical and scientific discoveries and advances, so I also truly appreciate those with interests in science, engineering, technology, biotech, and medicine. I love interesting books and movies, exploring new places, and learning about all kinds of interesting subjects.
I am a generous and gentlemanly person, and would love to take my partner out to wonderful restaruants of all types, or treat them to weekend getaways, shows, plays, and live music, as well as take hikes and walks in town and in the countryside, travel, and learn new things together. There are so many fun and wonderful things to do, and I find that they are always more fun when you have a loving partner to share them with.
I am very social at both my work settings, and consequently less so in other areas of life. I guess you’d say I’m a one woman kind of man, and enjoy particularly being in the world, hand in hand, with my one close loving partner.
I believe in honesty, integrity, and growth in relationships, and want nothing more than to co-create a warm, loving, giving partnership that will help us both weather life’s challenges and sustain us through all of our years.
