A friend told me that online dating sites are frequented by some very strange people, so I figured I should filter out a few folks by asking some serious questions. Please answer carefully:

Now that we've gotten the formalities out of the way,
Howdy! My name's Sean, and I'm here to steal your heart (with your permission, of course). Cheesy lines aside, I thought it would be fun to try out this online dating thing, as many of my friends have recommended it. Apparently, you can meet some cool people online (who would've though?!).
So, without further ado, here are a few tidbits about myself...
I spend my days working hard and reaping the rewards. I find time to play volleyball twice a week and try and work out at least 3 times a week which keeps me from turning into a potato.
I once ate 34 chicken McNuggets in one sitting after being dared by a friend. Needless to say, I wasn't very active for the remainder of the day.
I’ve been told I’m a gentleman and hopeless romantic…yes, we do exist! Therefore, my motto in life has always been and will always be “Quality vs. Quantity.” So, ladies, I am not on here looking for just sex or a “friends with benefits”. As my profile says, I am looking for a relationship.
That doesn’t mean being attached at the hip but seeing one another often. Currently live and work in the Oakville area and enjoy being Self Employed. Love to swim, play volleyball and pretty much anything that keeps me active. Also enjoy going to Vegas and Miami of course cannot forget California. On the other hand, a night in on the couch cuddled up with that special someone watching a movie would be just as nice too.
If you’ve made it this far, I hope the above is good enough because I really don’t know what to say. The best advice I ever got was to just be yourself. So, if someone told me to describe myself in 500 words or less so women could be attracted to me … I’d probably tell them if a woman liked me after only 500 words – she must be nuts! I’m not here to play games or date a bunch of girls, that kind of stuff doesn’t make me feel good. Plus, it seems like most girls get a ton of messages from the desperate losers on here that no one even cares about reading a profile about someone they actually want to meet.
What I’m looking for is someone that wants to take a risk and try and get to know someone for who they are. These dating sites are just around to make people money. These are just words and photographs. The lucky few on this site that are looking for real connections can certainly contact me anytime, I’d love to hear from you.
I’m unique in that I will not waste time with “shallow” interactions. I’m only open to meaningful, honest, and exclusive relationships with likeminded people. I’m not concerned with having tons of friends. A few good friends are all I need.
