I am a loving, hugging, tactile, communicative individual, who cares for all those around me and who seeks to better myself (and others) at every opportunity. I consider myself to be loyal and I prefer to maintain monogamous relationships. I style myself as Writer/Healer/Poet/Physical Therapist and designer of Self-Healing Devices; for those activities are the main thrust of my ever expanding life however, I'm sure many other epithets could be equally applied!
My all-too numerous interests include: Walking/Trekking (camping or just being in the great outdoors'), Talking (on any subject whatsoever especially if I or my co-communicator has any real knowledge on the matter in question); Writing: Poetry (erotica, love, life and pain and many other forms 300 to date) and also other - e.g. material on cutting-edge therapeutic exercises -including video and tools/devices for self-healing (design and development of specialized therapeutic equipment) with further work on nutrition/recipes, and 'Modern Social Issues' particularly those concerning real or perceived inequalities. I also enjoy learning about computers (hard and software), nutrition, natural history, sub-atomic particle physics, astrophysics and have a nodding interest in art, SLR photography, auto-motive engines and modes of transport, Antiques -particularly pottery wares/ceramics and furniture; Gemstones/Minerals and have in the past done a lot of DIY, Gardening, Building/Construction and Renovation -particularly carpentry.
My major qualifications cover 'in depth' the subject areas of: Physics, Zoology, Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Sociology, Anatomy, Physiology, Neurology, The Neuro-musculo-skeletal system, Pathology, Embryology, Arthrology, Rheumatology, Osteology, Clinical Methodology, Ethics, Therapeutic manipulation, Exercise theory and Massage; all applied to a wide section of the population along with many other complementary systems and techniques. Within the working environment I like to apply both the physical and metaphysical aspects of healing.
My Post Graduate research/studies include: Rapid dynamic; observation and treatment techniques, to provide pinpoint diagnosis and relief of primary lesion sites specifically within the pelvic or sacro-iliac areas - coupled with 4th (and other) Rib-release techniques and the theory of the relationship between the two structural areas with attendant dynamic forces that also govern symptomatology, aetiology and prophylaxis; especially that governing The Mechanics of Sitting; Work Station Ergonomics and RSI with the development of static/dynamic girdle-mobility exercises. I have also undertaken an in-depth study of Nutrition and the disorders of sub-clinical mal-nourishment i.e. nutrient depletion - under the general headings of: Vitamins, Minerals, Amino-acids, Antioxidants, Enzymes, Essential Fatty Acids, Adaptogens, Supplements, Herbs etc and in conjunction with the above I seek to gain Certification to Lecture and hope eventually go on to do a Phd!!!
For relaxation or a workout: I prefer to walk or play badminton or baseball, Table Tennis or 'the real thing'; but am happy to pump a little iron, do Qui Gong, perhaps to meditate, watch TV, log on to the Internet, Cook or Compose (poems). If a relationship permitted - physical-love would figure very highly on my list of priorities. However, my musical and painterly talents are non-existent as is my interest in football (Soccer or American) or music and I prefer not to subscribe to orthodox or 'organized' religion(s). I do however, retain an interest in Buddhism and related philosophies but cannot say I am in any way practicing. Dining out, dancing and clubbing are also not top of my priority list however, I might be persuaded to dance (but I'm not sure about that one!). Having traveled widely in the past - it does not figure highly on my present to-do list however, further travel is certainly not out of the question.
The allergies associated with blood group 'A' lead me to eat fruit, vegetables, white-breasted poultry and oily fish. By the same token I do not eat wheat or its derivatives, red meat or members of the nightshade family (potatoes, tomatoes, and sweet or spicy capsicums). For the most part if a differing blood group or cultural background is present then compromises can always be made - the trick is to require the least number of compromises possible or to have undying love for ones significant other!
I believe the English (in particular) can be conceited and pretentious. I humbly strive to be neither and believe I succeed in the latter but am probably still working on the former. Either way we all have our shortcomings. Regardless, I have always felt drawn to people of other nations and ethnic groupings especially those of Oriental or Asiatic origins or who have inter-racial ancestry but I have not, prior to this time, had the opportunity to meet people with such backgrounds. Although I have never actually been married before now, I was previously in a very long-term relationship; I would happily marry the 'right' person.
My Ideal Person:
I seek someone as my equal in most - if not in all things. I desire a mate for life - a highly energetic, loving, compatible and dependable partner able to keep up; who is at once independent but also interdependent, with a solid sense of humour a willingness for adventure and, at least in private, very sexy.
High-level - emotional and intellectual intelligence are vital qualities as well as someone strong in mind, body and spirit. A caring, sensitive attitude is important as my by-words are mutuality and communication. Partners must know and speak their minds, each to the other, and from that each should respond to the others needs. I've spent much of my life in inadequate or inappropriate relationships with low levels of compatibility. Much time has been spent as a house-husband and primary carer to my eldest two children whom I deeply love with the others (none of whom currently live with me) and ensuring their financial, housing and educational security and I continue to be an active guide in their welfare and development.
