I have always thought words are less than reality. Trust, courage these are the qualities sought, and honesty. My life has been varied and now I want to find in that the light at the fall of evening a constant smile. I am looking for a long term monogamous relationship which if not by word, is indeed a marriage. I find it hard to talk about myself. I prefer gentleness and kindness, depth, caring.
a poet which sometimes means financial straits, an author which means good promise, both requiring the annuity that now exists. I love to travel; am learning Mandarin, do yoga; have been an engineer, a researcher at a university and taught school and now choose, almost freely, what I hope is sublime.

Humor and seriousness, creativity, an appreciation of beauty and a sense of universality of people and of things, these too are of importance.
