i'm living in Kahului, Maui, Hawaii; mainly into web design and doing research for a book on homelessness; have a b.s. degree in journalism/social sciences. i'm not the kind of person who settles into a house in the suburbs and lives there forever; more interested in travel, writing, adventure, sailing, etc. i'm also a professional photographer and work with digital video; expect to combine all these various disciplines into powerful means of expression; looking to use them while sailing to ports around the world. i don't consider myself a perfect man but i can laugh at and learn from my mistakes. i'm working today to build a solid foundation for future adventures.
My Ideal Person:
it doesn't seem wise to pick out a certain type of woman because i've learned that often the unexpected is so much better than what i anticipated. however, in the past i seem to get along best with laid-back souls who have a good measure of self-confidence while retaining a sense of humility in the face of life's possibilities, i.e. not arrogant or judgmental in a superficial way. a desire for travel (not as a tourist) and probably an interest in sailing would be good. an appreciation of nature is a must.
