I graduated from the best university in China--loved that university, had a lot of fun, but hated my major. Came to the States 3 years ago and finally figured out what I wanted to do--here I am now, an accounting major, about to get my CPA and start working. I know it's not the most exciting subject but you have to start somewhere and I've had enough of the feeling of being a liberal arts major and slacking off all day. And I recently found myself starting to like those tax forms now--isn't that scary... 
When I first registered at this website I just moved here and was basically looking for someone to go clubbing with--I love techo. But I also have to like that person and if I do, we'll definitely do more things together. I do like virtually all types of music--I played piano when I grew up so I enjoy classical as well. Other things that I like: dining out, good conversation with friends, movies (i found myself especially fascinated by some independent movies), musical plays (Miss Saigon is the one I've always wanted to see but it's not on now), cooking (couple times a week can be really fun), shopping, travelling. Have been thinking of working out but keep giving myself excuses--I'm sure I'll enjoy it though once I get started since I enjoy dancing and I'm assuming working out with your headphones on would do just the same.
My Ideal Person:
Confidence (not arrogance) and sense of humor. High intelligence a must. Good educational background will make you stand out. And yes, looks do make a difference. But equally important is that you have to be nice--treat people with respect, and know how to appreciate. And the truth about looks is that if you're satisfied with your own looks then most likely I'll find you attractive. I have some friends that I love and find very attractive only after I got to know them. That applies to both girls and guys. Oh, and bonus points if you enjoy electronic music (drum 'n bass, deep house, electropop, trip-hop, etc.) or like one of the following bands/djs: underworld, new order, blur, dj shadow, kings of convenience...
