An experience with a diligent Jew

We drove 4 hrs to Nanping to inspect three garment factories. It would had been twice as long if not for the highway.

Our friend sasson from Israel truly amazed me. He brought his lunch and dinner from Israel; cheese slabs, bread and tetra-boxed milk. Not that chinese food dont excite him but being an obedient Jew, he can only eat 'bible food' and meat from permitted animals who were slaughtered in a manner that wouldn't suffer them.

And we exchanged historical knowledge of his country; golan heights, mt sinai, cost of living, middle east tension, Golda Mier and Anwar Sadat, amazing dog-fights by Jew pilots against Egyptians after Jew pilots spirit got transformed when they flew pass Mt.Sinai after took-offs for sky battles, ....Judaism, current law based on the Torah etc etc.

This Jew worked like a machine. By midnight, he was still inspecting quality at the 3rd factory. We had wanted to drive home to reach base at perhaps 4am. With rotation driving, we could make it home at that hour. After weighing the risk, sasson decided its too soon to wake up to God. And we finally checked into a good hotel for a good sleep to drive home at 8am so that he can catch his flight home to Tel Avi...Good? it seems until he got crank calls at 3am and 5am from lady pimps trying to sell him comfort ideas. Me? smart enough to have the phone off the hook.

 That is most interestging commentary. A friend of my father's is a Jew born in Shanghai before World War II and they left in 1948. His brother has since returned to SH and is now involved in the same business his parents were involved in before the War. The brothers are all married to Chinese women. Very interesting. And their children have the Asian face but the Jewish nose. Same with the girls. The family knows how to make money and keep it.
