CODE OF ETHICS...

What determines the Code of Ethics we all live by?
(preface... this blog may run astray. I have a few different thoughts and for lack of time, grouped them into one blog)

Is it OK to hack Satellite TV or download 'free' MP3's? Cheat the government on your taxes? Tap into electrical service from the streetlights? Where do you draw the line and still consider your self 'A person of high stature'

When someone needs your services badly... do you suddenly raise the price simply because they will pay it?

Some people stoop to incredible boundaries and still consider themselves upstanding. I wonder what criteria do they use to govern themselves.

Personalities and driving:
I've noticed some of the most inconsiderate drivers have the most expensive cars.
(This reminds me of the joke: What's the difference in a porcupine and a BMW?
The porcupine has the pri cks on the outside)
In a merge situation, they will force the other car off the roadway simply because the other driver wouldn't dare hit a luxury vehicle. Yet these same people encourage their 'be eco-friendly' and do all sorts of commendable things on the job or in their religious community.

Maybe you desire to give large sums to Charity. I know an entertainer who was obnoxious and difficult to work with... but he supported a Charity that helped keeping homeless off the street. In the eyes of the public, he was a hero.

Maybe your MO is to eat part of a meal at a fancy restaurant, then complain "it was spoiled" so the management takes the price of the meal off your bill and give you something else for free. Knowing some restaurants make a hefty profit. Well... that's one way to lower your entertainment/food bill. Hit a new restaurant once or twice a month and pull that stunt!

Some people believe in karma... so be careful. What you do to cheat others could fall back on you.

Goannaoil, not around here. I drove a 13 year old Toyota and BMW's always won out. By far, the most aggressive group on the road.
They can literally stop on a dime and maybe that explains why they get away with tailgating. Shorter stopping distance than the car in front of them.

Aggressive drivers only transfer their general aggressive nature to the roadway community.
The safe thing to do is avoid those, slow down and let them pass and go about their business.

Our role is to get where we are going, therefore, defensive driving exist for the reason and purpose to help one protect themselves and others.
People still do not respect what a vehicle is and what its capable of, they think its a protective bubble that allows them to engage their aggression while driving.

Respectful demeanor and considerations work well, and always people must use the "what if" strategy in living. It helps them maintain and prepare themselves for the things which others might be prone to do.

A woman in her late 50's works at the convenience store, she told me she was going home one night, and as she arrived at home, some idiot, mugged her. She said she had her hands full with groceries and her handbag was hanging on her shoulder, The guy wanted her purse, she said he could have easily got the purse, but instead he beat and kicked her and made her drop the groceries and continued beating her and then took the pursue.

The world is full of many low life's, who have nothing but aggression in their demeanor. it is a matter that one needs always to be cautious and aware, not paranoid, but aware and cautious... if they do so they can help themselves avert much of the craziness.
