Weekend joke - An Amish joke

An Amish husband, wife and to the city on vacation. They visit a shopping mall and while the mother is shopping, the father and are standing in awe in front of an elevator (having no idea what it is).

As they watch, an elderly lady walks into the strange silver doors and the doors close. The father and watch as the numbers go up, and then back down. When the doors open, a beautiful woman walks out. The father leans over and whispers to the , ", go get your mother!"

 The Amish are a group of traditionalist Christian church fellowships with Swiss German Anabaptist origins. They are closely related to, but distinct from, Mennonite churches. The Amish are known for simple living, plain dress, and reluctance to adopt many conveniences of modern technology
