MacKenzie Bezos to give half of her $36 billion fortune to charity MacKenzie Bezos, worth more than $36 billion after divorcing Amazon (AMZN) CEO Jeff Bezos, announced on Tuesday that she will give at least half of her fortune to charity. Bezos’s promise came by signing the Giving Pledge, an initiative founded in 2010 by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett that encourages the world’s wealthiest people to donate more than half of their wealth to charitable causes. “There are lots of resources each of us can pull from our safes to share with others,” the fiction author stated in a letter published on the Giving Pledge website. “In addition to whatever assets life has nurtured in me, I have a disproportionate amount of money to share,” MacKenzie Bezos added. “My approach to philanthropy will continue to be thoughtful. It will take time and effort and care. But I won’t wait. And I will keep at it until the safe is empty.” Bezos previously funded cancer research, and founded the anti-bullying organization Bystander Revolution. She is one of 19 signatories of the Giving Pledge announced on Tuesday. “The generosity of this group is a reflection of the inspiration we take from the many millions of people who work quietly and effectively to create a better world for others, often at great personal sacrifice,” Warren Buffett said in a statement. Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos announced their divorce in January, after 25 years of marriage. One month later, Bezos alleged that the National Enquirer tried to blackmail him using intimate photos of him with his mistress, Lauren Sanchez, who was revealed to have been having an affair with the Amazon CEO. On April 4, MacKenzie Bezos announced that she would give him 75% of her Amazon stock as part of their divorce agreement.  Honesty is the best policy. |

You are too exaggerated. There is no "patent right" on any news articles, or current events, so I didn't violate any privacy laws. My email friends share news, current events ALL THE TIME with links that sometimes had videos with article. I and my friends shared many news and discussed the current events. Do you know on "YouTube video", they said "Please share, Thumb up, and subscribe"? I didn't violate any law. You are a naysayer to my blogs, you are NOT welcome to be on my blogs in the future. I have many email friends (males and females), we sent and forwarded news links and discussed the current events that we are interested. However, on Asia Friendfinder I don't have bloggers email addresses, and Asia Friendfinder won't allow me to show website address, so I copied down the entire news as blog topics and wanted to hear different voices. Also I wanted to show bloggers that articles to actuate the discussions of current events and I didn't I made up the news. That is all my intentions, nothing else. If you like the topics, comment on it, if you don't, ignore it. Honesty is the best policy.

Wow, the billionaires, i.e. MacKenzie Bezos, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, .... all Giving Pledge 50% of their wealth to charities. Normally when divorce, women got the half of her husband's wealth. Well, not in my case. I NOT ONLY gave him "Green Card", "U.S. citizen", BUT also gave him cars, dental office, .... so, I refused to sell my residence to give him 50%. He is a couch potato, watching TV and doing nothing, pay nothing "son of the bit*ch". Women have to be very careful to choose the right men. Honesty is the best policy.
