Alice: Nobody wants to grow old and has gray hair. You are only 48, I am 60+, of course, I have my hair dyed every 4 - 5 weeks for "touch-up" the roots. I am a very honest person, NOT to offend you, but you should continue to dye hair. Everyone is responsible for her appearance. I meant well for you, please don't get angry. I am not a hypocrite. I am a "call a spade, a spade" person. You must dye your hair with dark brown color (black is too obviously). Your social life will be better, no matter male or female. We all hope to be younger, but nobody can stop time. We all grow old by time. You will gain much "confidence" and improve your relationship with other people. You have to take care your appearance and respect how other people's feeling about you. Everyone likes active young and happy woman, nobody likes to see gray hair. You live in Brazil, a country that full of sexy women. How can you not to dye your hair? I don't mean that you need to be sexy, but at least start from dye hair. It is necessary. I like to travel, so I always dye hair before go traveling and immediately touch up the root when return. Nobody has time to know how nice person you are, but they can immediately notice you have gray hair. If you don't care about my advice, you can continue to live the way you want. I always put on lipstick before I walk out my house even just for a lunch. I put on "make-up" when dating with a guy. This is a comparative world. The better man chose the prettier woman. I can say something to make you happy but I am not a "silent lamb". Dye hair is a basic step to attract people and make yourself more confident. Honesty is the best policy.

I have not dye'd my hair, but I have lots of friends "male" who die their hair, some of them their wives help them dye their hair. I have only tried it once, I was in Thailand, and they dyed my hair "very black", it looked very odd and the heat kind of made it turn a reddish look, when I returned home, I had it all cut off...now, its just the natural grey.... a few years ago it was more sprinkled with black and grey... I'm not sure I'd invest the time to keep the cycle of adding dye to my hair, and I don't want what I see some people where the roots are grey, and the top part is dark color. I even see some guys who's mustache has grey roots but dark color. I do like that when young the black hair, showed the "edge line very well", 1ClassyLady does make a point, about people and image, if they are not drawn to the image, often times they don't or won't take time to learn the person. I see many many many many many women in "wigs'... I'm not a fan of wigs, but I do know some use them because of medical concerns of hair loss, but some use it just to be quick about things and not have to deal with their hair, and some have short hair and want it to look longer. I see a very high volume of women with "weaves', and now there is more people with a variety of bright colors to their hair. No matter what we do in life... we can't remove the element or fact that 'we are visual people, and we make many acts based on peoples looks. It's strange, but if a pretty women, stole something, society would deal with her far different than they would a woman that is not so called pretty, and the same is true for men as well. Men who look good can make a mistake and people are willing to overlook it or deal with it. more than if a guy does not look good. But the odd thing in that scenario is... If people have "bright happy smiles', sometimes they get the same leniency as those who have the pretty look. We can even look at jobs.. pretty people something don't have to be as good at their skill level in work as people who are not. As soon as I hit the lottery, I may try to dye my hair for a minute.....

Alice, It is your RESPONSIBILITY to make yourself more presentable. It is NOT about dating, but for your confidence in yourself and improve your working relationship with your colleagues. You didn't get my point. I am not a hypocrite person that tell you that picture is a pretty picture. You are only 48, but look much older than you should. It is hard for you to listen to my advice, but again it is your life. Do whatever you like. I think you are a Japanese descendant, do you know that Japanese women wake up very early in the morning to put on make-up before they walked out their houses??? I am not particularity put on make-up but I do touch-up my hair roots every 4 weeks or so. Have a great life. You don't need my advice. Honesty is the best policy.

Thank you 1ClassyLady.

Actually the silver hair looks just fine!!! My mother, a fine looking woman, turned white-haired at 32 following cancer treatment, and looked no less lovely for it

Yumi, you look happy with your look otherwise you won't upload the picture. Many stylish and intelligent people have grey hair too, just embrace it. I don't think hair colour can solely define our age, it depends on hair style and how you dress, obviously personality counts too. As long as you feel happy with it, don't bother others opinions. .

woaini, each ones is each one! You have met someone nice, good for you? I actually used to have 2 black friends but they were not attractive men to me only were good people and nice to talk to. consider you nice and good-looking, but not attractice 'to me'. I have a particular preference for short and weak men concerning build.
