I see there's a new member who has a profile photo of her naked crotch. I know Friend Finder has other sites allow for alternative lifestyles, I happen to think she's in the wrong place. Comments? .

funny TRUMP things this this month...

Back when Dorian was a tropical storm, the original forecast was it would become a hurricane, head toward Florida then curve north along the east coast. All the models reflected this path.
Trump announced it would be a direct hit on Alabama. The weather center said no, but Trump insisted he was right and to prove his point, he went on TV showing an outdated map created from the NOAA website and on the outermost part of the projected cone someone with a black marker (Sharpie) added a path toward Alabama.
The internet went wild over this !! Trump had Tweeted (some call it twitted) several times again how he was right. Anyway, it's spawned several other images including a 'hole in one' probably because Trump played golf while Dorian, a category 5 storm at the time was whacking Bahamas.
It's amazing he's been in several public meetings stating he's never heard of, nor seen a category 5 storm before. Do they exist? .

The shelves are bare...

Hurricane Dorian approaches Florida as a category 5 storm with winds of 0mph. All indications say it will head north and not make landfall on the east coast. This has been broadcast on a regular basis now. Not the fear is over, but the odds of it cutting through the state leaving a path of total destruction are very low.
The gasoline panic is over. I no longer see dozens of cars wrapped around gas stations like we had earlier in the week. People at many stations waited 20- minutes to fill up.
Water? 's a different story. You cannot find water on the shelves of supermarkets... with the exception of the French stuff $3.50 a liter all bottled water is sold out. When they bring a pallet of bottled water to the front of the grocery store it gets scooped up within minutes.
I heard on TV to keep 1 gallon person per day for at least 10 days. Are you f'kin kidding ? A gallon of water lasts 2 weeks!
My coworker came to complain he procrastinated and was lucky enough to have gotten the last supply in the store near his house in Hollywood... miles away from predicted strike zone. I asked how much water did he get and his answer was 48 bottles. It's him and his wife. Why so much, I asked and his response was he could return what he didn't use. I'm saying temporary insanity came over him.
Thinking the fear of bad things would lessen, I went to the grocery store to fresh salmon. Gone. So was the beef and chicken. Only some seasoned sausage was on display. All of the frozen meats were gone! .

Hurricane Dorian... meet Florida!

My original blog on August 26 reflected weather forecasters predicting Dorian, then a tropical storm to hit the East Coast of Florida Friday morning as a tropical storm. They were 90% wrong. The only thing they are getting right is the East Coast part. I said Mar-a-Lago... and it looks like I'm more accurate than the forecasters with their radar, satellites and airplane storm trackers.
Currently... Dorian has slowed it's , picked up speed and is now a category 3 hurricane packing winds over 110 miles hour. Expected to hit Florida early Tuesday morning. means the outer band of tropical winds will be reaching us Monday night! .

Currently... Dorian is a tropical storm off the coast of Venezuela. Maximum sustained winds are 60 miles per hour and expected to reach hurricane strength Wednesday morning as it crosses over the Dominican Republic on it's way to Florida. I'm not a weather forecaster, nor do I in a TV series, but a few degrees the north and it's away from Florida and headed South Carolina. .

Swirley is gone...

of the first things I wanted replace in condo remodeling project was an old toilet. I named it Swirley because it 2-1/2 gallons flush and took 2 minutes to fill up again. That wasn't the worst part... The worst part was watching the water level rise the rim of the bowl and start swirling it's contents (yes, poop) for 30 seconds before making it's way Mar-a-Lago!
The missus didn't mind it probably because she came from a country where they poop over a hole in the floor. Another complaint I had was the low seat height. Think of Kiddie height for . So, it was agreed new toilet was in the budget. I got a and of a plumber from the VP of the condo association and his guy wanted $250 and recommended I get a $250 toilet.
Not wanting to $500, I put the project down on 'do list' I had stop place for lunch and a plumber was in the guest spot finishing a conversation before getting of his truck. I asked if he had a set price replace a toilet and he said "$5" I said "Put me on your schedule for the middle of next week" The night before, I stopped at The Home Depot and picked up a brand toilet for $190. Chair height and elongated no-slam seat. This is normal by today's standards.
On the appointment day, the plumber called to confirm and showed up on-time. He disconnected the old toilet and carried it in parts for removal. I asked if there was a date of manufacture and he glanced down at the lid shouting back me "1977" Smiling hear that... it was an antique and I was replacing the original toilet that came with the condo.
He worked fast and within 45 minutes the new toilet was installed and caulked to the floor. I paid him for his work and got a quote to do some other repairs after I replace some vanity cabinets. .

Chicago Rewired...

I went a concert last night sponsored by the City of Boca Raton. The playing was the Chicago tribute band, Chicago Rewired, a bunch of old fat guys playing Chicago songs the best of their ability. , they were okay especially since the venue was free admission.
Earlier in the week, a friend told me about the concert and asked if I wanted to join him. He went to a concert last week in Fort Lauderdale that got rained-out and we weren't sure about the weather this time as seasonally, we get afternoon showers.
Held in the Mizner Park lawn-style amphitheater where folding lawn chairs were optional and so is the rain. Earlier, I was on a jobsite around 4pm and heard distant thunder... by 6pm the storms had moved offshore and we confirmed... let's go for it. We got to the event early and easily found free parking. I estimated the around 4,000 in attendance. Mostly people age 50 and up with a few parents bringing their along. Music started around 7:30pm, before sundown here and the temperature was 84 degrees. most, but there were enough winds where the heat wasn't affecting me.
Expecting the music be loud, I travel events like this with industrial ear plugs. From the first shriek of the lead singers voice, it was time some decibel reduction! It wasn't so much the volume of the sound system, it's the the lack of fidelity that I found so bothersome. All the the sounds on stage were pumped through the system. Bass, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Guitar, Synthesizer/Keyboards, drums and vocals from 4 singers. As expected, the volume of the bass drum drowned the voices and instruments. I've always wondered what the guys at the console 200 feet from the stage do considering it's their job mix the audio volume. We weren't too far from them so the sounds we were hearing were most likely the sounds they were hearing.
The band played about 45 minutes and took a 20 minute break. Someone must have commented to the sound crew to adjust the microphone volume as the second set had much better balance. You could hear the harmonies... including they notes the lead singer couldn't reach! Peter Cetera he wasn't, but they were doing a tribute Chicago and the audience vibe was forgiving.

Jeffrey Epstein is gone...

The top story this weekend is/will be the death of Jeffrey Epstein, accused sx trafficker was in prison awaiting trial set next year. Law enforcement sources said he hanged himself and already the conspiracy theorists are hard at work. Wasn't he found unresponsive just weeks ago with (what appeared be) self inflicted marks on his neck? Shouldn't he have been 24 hour heavy security? Was it suicide or an inside job (paid ) from someone had something lose should he testify and bring up some skeletons in someones closet? .
