Let me fly to distant land...
Over greenfields ,trees and mountain...
Flowers and forest fountains...
Hover on the lane of the skyway...
It's almost twenty years after, till now at present that I'm raising my pigeons atop the roof of our house.
The first stanza of the song by Elton John is dedicated to these priceless pet of mine...feels great as you watch them fly over!

What about it?
Country music? Well, It's mostly associated with long hair and cowboy outfit, With the sound of the fiddle and sometimes the banjo on the background along with the crying sound of the slide guitar.
If it's a pop hit? Then you always heard it being played on your favorite Radio tuners and usually at MTV channels. How about folk rock? Who could ever forget the famous "Father and son" By Cat Stevens, Who changed his name to Islam and therefore suffered the consequences of being barred entering the US soil , suspected of being in cahoots with terrorist...(sounds weird to me).
Speaking of Classics , Movie themes and "Ol' blue eyes" Frank, topped the list, and the mastery of Bethooven and the likes...aaah yes, the great tenor, Pavarotti! .
When I was a teen ager, hair was that long to make my guitar playing more convincing to my buddies and especially among the teenage girls...It's also a way to be more appreciative and noticeable to your crush or that secret puppy love!
Recalling back the yesteryears...On a corridor's bench at the high school campus , schoolmates milling around to hear you play the tunes. Some of the boys would even butt in, to render a song or two on the usual vacant period and noontime breaks.Group singing along, ballpens as drums stick, while some tapped their feet along the beat and its rythmic tempo.
Now with the MP3's Ipod's and high tech media player, the access to song is more convenient, so one can easily learn to play and be adaptable. Unlike in the 70's wherein, some of us learner have to depend a lot on song books, Our famous "Jingle chordbook"(wonder what happen to the publication), and the more concealed pocketsize songhits at my favorite magazine stand, Slip it between your notebooks, on those unwanted academic class sessions.
Every individual has a song or a music attached to him/her. Be it a theme song or the usual humming song while taking a bath. It always come and go no matter what. I guess that phrase line is indeed true...

Gain a lot of pounds last holiday season...time to shed those unwanted fats accumulated on the festivities...have to bikerun a couple of kilometers for a start, sure hell getting off these extra waistline...plus a change of food varieties from meat to vegies and fruits...hoping this will work!

Surprise to see my listing way down low...must have missed all my friends here for quite awhile...
Well, 2006 is here and there's no stopping in adding a year to our everyday encounters in life...Fun times and miseries, love and heartaches...so be it!

A lady is consulting a doctor with expertise in plastic surgery...
Lady : I can't stand the teasing I'm getting at the office... therefore, I have to consult you about this...(pointing on her small boobs)
Doctor : What about the teasing?
Lady : (in between sobs)...some says' that its only a mosquito bite....others would tell that it's only a pimple...
Doctor : never a mention of the "Pirate's Dream".
Lady : How's that? sound confusing, Doc ?
Doctor : Actually It's not...

Everyday malls and shopping centers were always
filled with the poor and the rich alike scouting and then purchasing the hand pick choices for clothes and gifts for the seasons...
City street lights gives life at night and windows are filled with decorations of the symbolic spirit of the coming festivities, here and there......
True essence of the Nativity is now secondary. Big spending, shopping spree and parties to the delight of the christian world is a must.
Christmas break both for the working class and the students lives on for the 2005 celebration!
