I'm strikingly good-looking with a muscular, athletic body. I'm warm and caring and my blistering intelligence knows no bounds; my only fault is my excessive modesty. ;-)
My interests are varied; actually, I'm interested in pretty much everything. Some particular passions:
Reading - great literature both modern and classical. I just finished Murakami's 'Norwegian Wood' (Wow!) and I am currently enjoying the short novels of Anton Chekov.
Writing - Mostly short fiction but I have a couple of novels trying to find their way out of my head and onto paper.
Music - I love music: classical, jazz, blues, rock. Everything from Beethoven to U2. My favorite music seems to change daily; currently it is Bach's Cello Suite No. 1. I play the saxophone badly and the guitar even worse.
Science and technology: I am software engineer, or computer scientist, or a code-monkey. I have been programming since I was 8 and I will never loose my passion for it. To live in such times as these, to experience and be part of this unprecedented rush of technological progress, fills me with awe. These are amazing times.
Sport: I've never really liked team sports and when I was young I was embarrassingly bad at them. Instead I prefer activities where the challenge to be overcome is more focused: either one other person or my own limitations. Fencing, Kung Fu, Squash, Weight Training.

Friendship is the most important thing. When two people share a common approach to the world and understand each other, when two people respect each other and share concern for each others happiness, then they have found something rare and valuable.
