My friends often describe me as kind or sometimes as very sweet. I have been told I am patient. I am highly sociable, but also enjoy activities done in solitude, like reading or creating artwork. I am drawn to elegance. I enjoy the outdoors. I usually prefer shade to direct sunlight. Few things are nicer than being immersed in a majestic Redwood grove. I like to explore. Sometimes this means discovering new aspects of familiar places. Sometimes it means taking a different hiking trail or trying to vary a tried and true recipe while cooking. Sometimes it means flying to an exotic location and immersing myself in a foreign culture. I love music. My tastes are broad, sometimes mainstream and sometimes ecclectic. I like to move to music and seem to spend an inordinate amount of time with dance. I love Argentine tango and am slowly becoming good at it. I enjoy movies. I occasionally enjoy cooking. I have had some spectacular successes and equally specatacular failures, but isn't that why learning is both humbling and fun? I strive to be gracious. I used to believe it was a goal to reach. Now I understand grace is something which one constantly attempts to achieve, and not a destination that can be reached.

I believe honesty and integrity are essential in all relationships. The best relationships are something built, not something found, they start with friendship. Trust is more easily shattered than built. Communication is the key though communication isn't automatic or easy
