I come from a very wealthy family that got tainted by it's own money. I went from riches to rags and have climbed my way back to raggy riches. I was born cute, but then my years hit me and something happened...I got fat and I wasn't cute anymore. At 25, I lost a lot of weight and found upscale department stores and face creams. After the age of about 35 though, I started getting better looking and probably look my best now. I was raised a Catholic, became a born-again Christian and then came out of the closet after my mother died in 1988. I think of her everyday still. My father died in 2005.
My family is my two wonderful mutts, Ashley (born 1996 ) and Teia (born 1998). Slocombe, my 16 year old cat, died in 2006. I was raised a liberal Republican and then became a moderate Democrat. I am a very romantic person and a faithful friend. I keep all the friendships that I make. My oldest friendship with Chrissy dates back to 1968 and my longest relationship was with William for 13 years. I decided against a broadcasting career after ASU and got into cable television. Cable has been very good to me for over a quarter century. I was born in New York, moved to LA, Phoenix and now Seattle. I have recently moved to Changzhou, Jiangsu, China.
我的理想對象:
When it comes to who I want to be with someone for the rest of my life...I am attracted to a man who is an individual, who can stand on their own and who knows what he wants and where he's going. I love a man who is passionate about life, as well as love. Romance is key to a relationship and you must be willing to be committed to someone. Trust, honesty, respect, integrity, appreciation of nature, spirituality and compassion are traits I find attractive in people as well. We all must be willing to continually grow and learn. I hope that my partner will be my friend and more. I know one thing for sure, it will take time. All good relationships take time to develop and grow.
As far as friendships, I wouldn't mind meeting just about anyone. All people, from all walks of life are simply attractive to me. Finding out about someone, their life, what they're going through and listening to their story, it's all a real thrill. When I meet someone new, hours pass by like seconds. I love meeting new people. As I said before, I love talking to anyone about their walk in life. Men or women, gay or straight, any skin color, nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, creed or any type of orientation. We all have a story to tell and I love hearing them all! Good friendships should last forever anyway.
