I am a former professor at a national university in Japan, retired this March. Now I am a visiting Professor at two private universities in Tokyo.
I got rid of my two years old car simply for my health. I do walk to everywhere, I generally walk more than 10,000 steps every other day. When take a walk, I go out with a digital camera and take pictures of small unknown flowers along sidewalks. Recently,I am also interested in taking pictures of very small creatures around us, e.g., larva, snails, ants, spiders, worms, etc. I found even very small spiders are very colorful and even those simply black ants have black and white stripes; in this way I am making small interesting discoveries everyday.
In short, my hobbies are walking, mountain walking (hiking), no use of elevators or escalators in tall buildings and everywhere else. Photography, oil or water color paintings, computers. I sometimes drink a few glasses of very diluted brandy or whisky, two glasses of red wine when it is available. I have quit smoking more than thirty years. I have been in Philadelphia two years, been to NY, LA and many cities or Grand Canyon, Yosemite etc. resort parks in the US, many cities in Deutschland, Netherlands, UK, Finland, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Czech, Switzerland and Russia and other places on this Planet. Been to the Philippines this July as my first trip to the Southeast Asia. I wish I could make a travel with my soulmate together to other places where I have never had a chance to visit.
My Ideal Person:
I want to meet a woman who knows how to enjoy life, is caring, is enjoyable to talk with and live together and is eager to do anythhing new.
